The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 9, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) leaked John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was alive to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) – and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) kiss stunned Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
First on Thursday’s B&B episode, Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) told Sheila she had a visitor before Li appeared. Li taunted Sheila now that she was locked up and vowed to make her pay for what she did to Finn.
Sheila insisted she was already paying the price and that she was owning up to her mistakes, but Li felt that Sheila had no choice. Li ranted about Sheila being a selfish, pathetic woman, but Sheila argued that she was haunted by what she did that night.
After Sheila said she couldn’t sleep knowing she took the life of her boy, Li said Finn was HER boy and that he always would be. There was nothing Li wouldn’t do for Finn.
At Forrester Creations, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) tried to talk Carter out of going back to Paris, but he viewed it as a way to let go of Quinn and protect her marriage at the same time.
Quinn remained the woman Carter truly wanted, but he knew he couldn’t have her and vowed to move on. When Quinn asked if Carter would trust Paris with his heart, he said he had to give it a shot.
Carter insisted he had something with Paris, even if it was just about burying his true feelings. Quinn hated seeing Carter in pain, but he was tired of being alone and felt he had to get on with his life.
In the design office, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) caught Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) looking at pics of himself with Paris on his phone. Grace felt that Paris could get over her silly Carter crush and tried to convince Zende that he had to fight for her daughter.
After Paris walked in and shut Grace down, Zende left them alone so they could talk. Paris warned Grace that she wasn’t a child and refused to let her keep meddling.
Although Grace felt she was looking out for Paris’ best interests, Paris thought her mom was making things worse for Zende. Even so, Grace feared Paris was headed for trouble on this path with Carter.
Once Paris was alone, Carter suddenly came barging in and planted a passionate kiss on her. Nearby, Grace spied the lip lock and clearly disapproved.
Back with Quinn, she talked to Zende about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and how worried Eric Forrester (John McCook) had been about her. Both Zende and Quinn were glad that Sheila was off the streets – that way, she couldn’t ruin any more lives.
Over with Sheila, she pointed out that she never got to say goodbye to Finn. Li made it clear that Sheila never would and felt that Sheila was just angry that Steffy didn’t die.
Sheila insisted she could’ve raised her grandson, which was an awful thought as far as Li was concerned. Nevertheless, Sheila felt that Finn believed she was a good person up to the very last moment.
Li thought Sheila was delusional and was glad to hear about her being transferred to a federal prison to await trial. Once that trial happened, Li intended to testify and make sure Sheila spent the rest of her miserable life behind bars.
Sheila ended up slamming the table since Li was getting on her nerves, but Li didn’t care. After Li ranted about what Sheila did, she said Finn “is” a wonderful young man.
A perplexed Sheila picked up on the present tense and wondered if Li meant “was.” Li said that’s what she meant and added that Finn was in a place where Sheila would never hurt him again.
It was time for Li to leave, but Sheila warned that Li hadn’t seen the last of her. Once Li was gone, Sheila still seemed deep in thought over Li’s slip.
A guard called out to Sheila, who looked back and smiled at the sight of him. It turned out to be Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), Sheila’s old accomplice.
