The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 19, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) exposed Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) hospital murder attempt and realized Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was in danger twice.
At the cabin on Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) showed up to drop the bomb about Sheila shooting Steffy and killing John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
That left Liam and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) reeling, especially when Liam recalled how Sheila had been alone in Steffy’s room fussing with her IV. It dawned on Liam that Steffy’s life was perhaps in danger all over again.
Brooke insisted that Sheila was in custody and would never see the light of day, but she admitted there was more. After Brooke revealed that Sheila was the reason she drank that night, Liam said that woman was evil!
Hope hated Sheila for everything she’d done, but she also wondered what all this meant for Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Although Ridge didn’t come home, Brooke was optimistic based on what he said and his move to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place.
After Brooke expressed faith that Ridge would choose her over Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), she suggested it was just a matter of time until she was back in Ridge’s arms.
At the cliff house, Steffy told a distracted Taylor that Ridge would be there soon. Taylor and Steffy rehashed all Sheila’s crimes before Ridge returned with updates on Brooke, whose mind was blown over all the revelations.
Although Steffy felt terrible for Brooke, she hoped nothing had changed between Ridge and Taylor. Steffy didn’t want to see Taylor and Ridge’s connection suddenly erased, especially since Brooke still chose to betray Ridge with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Ridge revealed that he was moving out of Steffy’s guesthouse, so Taylor piped up that space would be good for him. Whatever happened, Taylor wanted Ridge to know how much their time together had meant to her.
After Taylor told Ridge that he was her best friend, she insisted she would always love him no matter what. Ridge pulled Taylor into a warm embrace and seemed torn while Steffy pouted nearby.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) looked down at the custom ring Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) gave him and then flashed to a romantic moment with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis).
When Quinn appeared, Eric revealed all the Sheila shockers he’d heard in Ridge’s phone call. Quinn thought it was diabolical to a different level to put a bullet in your own child, but Eric clarified that Finn stopped a bullet meant for Steffy.
Quinn also learned that Sheila was responsible for Brooke’s drunken disaster. That led to Eric mulling over how delighted he was about Ridge reconnecting with Taylor – though he truly believed Ridge and Brooke belonged together.
Since Sheila was to blame for Brooke’s drinking, Quinn felt the real question was what would happen to Ridge and Brooke now. As other B&B news pops up, we’ll keep you posted.
