The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 9, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will make a big mistake by trusting Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) family feud will also escalate, so here’s what B&B has in store.
At Brooke’s place, she’ll hold out hope that Ridge will come around completely and offer her a full recommitment.
Despite all the bumps in the road, Brooke truly believes Ridge is her destiny.
Although Brooke wants to proceed with caution and avoid any more Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) drama, she’ll think things are moving in the right direction.
Brooke will trust Ridge to honor their marriage vows and not lose sight of where he belongs.
Of course, it’s a mistake to underestimate Ridge and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) connection.
Ridge has proven that he almost always bolts back to Taylor at the first sign of trouble – just like he did when Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) posted that selfie.
As Taylor and Ridge hide their Monaco lip lock, their secret pact will only give them another bond and reason to stay intertwined.
Between that and how full their hearts are over Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion, the “Tridge” spark will remain strong.
Speaking of Steffy, her argument with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will get even worse at the cliff house.
Li has no intention of apologizing for anything since Finn’s survival was all that mattered to her.
Steffy will grow frustrated since Li just doesn’t understand the pain she caused – or at least the pain she allowed to continue.
Li could’ve brought Steffy out of that deep depression sooner if she’d just spoken up.
This was a situation where Steffy wanted to be by Finn’s side helping Li nurse him back to health.
Nevertheless, Li will think it’s time to concentrate on the future since Finn’s back with Steffy and the kids.
Steffy will always be grateful to Li for saving Finn’s life and will indeed want to move forward.
That said, it may be hard for Steffy to completely put Li’s betrayal in the rearview mirror.
