The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 13, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) told an Italy trip story while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) pitched a reunion for her dad and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Here’s how all the B&B drama played out.
At Forrester Creations, Hope remained uneasy over the possibility that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was alive.
Brooke hated to say it, but she thought John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were right to be worried.
After Brooke assured Hope that the police would confirm Sheila’s survival if it was true, talk turned to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Hope asked if Brooke was nervous staying alone in the house without Ridge since she’d been coming into the office a lot more.
Brooke denied being nervous and acted like there was just so much work to do.
Even so, Hope wanted Brooke’s honest feelings about Ridge and wondered what would happen when he returned.
Brooke reiterated that she was done with all the back and forth, so Ridge had to decide if he could be completely committed to her.
Hope said that was what Brooke deserved and reminded her that Deacon was a committed option who would love her unconditionally.
Brooke laughed at Hope giving a pitch for her dad, but Hope assured her that she wasn’t trying to push her parents together like Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Hope just wanted Brooke to follow her heart and be happy, so Brooke gave her daughter a hug.
At Il Giardino, Finn blamed himself for this Sheila nightmare, but Steffy pointed out that he was Sheila’s victim, too.
Paul (Hollis W. Chambers) said he heard about the run-in and let everyone know to keep on the lookout for Sheila.
Finn also mentioned Deacon checking the security footage just before Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) arrived with questions.
Steffy insisted that she saw Sheila there in the restaurant – that she locked eyes with Sheila and felt her blood run cold.
Since Steffy had looked away for a second in shock, Sheila had gotten away.
Finn remained hopeful that Sheila would be caught on camera. Baker agreed that if they got a decent image of disguised Sheila, they could send it out to the airports and try to stop her.
At Deacon’s apartment, he called Sheila on her burner phone again and revealed that he found her on the security footage.
Sheila pushed Deacon to delete that footage, so he hesitated for a moment before hitting delete.
After Sheila made another speech about how much she owed Deacon, she insisted she was moving on and would never bother him again.
Deacon warned Sheila that she couldn’t run and had to throw herself at the mercy of the court, but Sheila insisted on finding a way out of this mess.
Once Sheila told Deacon goodbye and hung up on him, Deacon deleted the backup files on the security footage laptop as well.
When Baker came looking for him with Steffy and Finn, Deacon said he’d been through the footage three times and didn’t see the woman Steffy was talking about.
Steffy was adamant that it was Sheila and flew into a rage about how she couldn’t escape this time.
After everything Sheila had done, Steffy demanded that her twisted mother-in-law pay for her crimes.
Later, Paul showed up at Deacon’s apartment and noticed he was packing.
Deacon noted that the owner was thinking of selling the restaurant, so this could be his chance to turn Il Giardino into Deacon’s Place.
That was supposedly Deacon’s dream, so he claimed he wanted to get the funding together and had to go to Italy.
Deacon said his parole officer signed off on it and insisted that getting out of there ASAP was the smartest thing to do.
Back with Sheila, she told herself that she was never going back to prison and that she wouldn’t be hiding out for long.
“I’ll be a free woman again. That day is coming soon,” Sheila said while laughing and crying at the same time.
At Forrester Creations again, Steffy arrived with Finn and offered updates on what went down at Il Giardino.
Brooke and Hope were stunned to hear about Steffy’s encounter with Sheila in disguise.
Finn insisted that his family was in danger every moment Sheila was out there, so he was concerned along with Steffy about this threat – one that was very much still alive.
