The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 22, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) grilled Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about last night while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) warned Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) to fight for her man.
At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B Episode, Taylor woke up thinking about the passionate kisses she shared with Ridge the night before.
Taylor was in the bed while Ridge had been camped out in a nearby chair.
Taylor acknowledged that last night wasn’t a dream and wondered if Ridge had any regrets.
Ridge admitted it was the right decision for him to sleep separately for now.
Ridge did have regrets about not seeing that Brooke was going to choose Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and throw away everything they had.
That said, Ridge didn’t regret being there with Taylor, who was beautiful, honest and caring.
Ridge knew Taylor wanted the best for him and intended to focus on that.
They joked around about the kids pushing them together before deciding to grab some coffee downstairs.
Meanwhile, Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) were downright giddy over their mom and dad being alone in the bedroom.
Once Ridge and Taylor joined them, Steffy and Thomas gathered around their parents for a group hug.
Steffy eventually noticed Ridge wasn’t wearing his wedding ring, so Ridge said he needed to talk to Brooke.
Ridge asked about his phone, so Thomas nonchalantly handed it over like he just found it.
Ridge noticed all the missed messages from Brooke and took off to see her.
That left Steffy concerned, but Taylor hugged her daughter and suggested everything would be fine.
Taylor assured Steffy that it was Ridge’s intention to end his marriage.
Thomas noted that Brooke did had a history of reeling Ridge in over and over, so Steffy remained worried.
Steffy suggested maybe Taylor should go over there and stake her claim.
Steffy thought Taylor should stop being polite and establish some ground rules with Brooke.
Taylor chose to trust in what she shared with Ridge instead, so Steffy talked about how much they all deserved to be a family again.
Steffy honestly believed this was the end for Ridge and Brooke.
At Brooke’s place, she informed Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) that Ridge didn’t come home last night.
Hope suggested that maybe Ridge stayed in a hotel, but Brooke seemed doubtful of that.
After Brooke’s troubling phone call, Eric Forrester (John McCook) arrived and got updates on everything that had happened since that drunk New Year’s Eve.
Eric confirmed that Brooke was getting help, but he hadn’t heard from Ridge and couldn’t put Brooke’s mind at ease about where he spent the night.
Brooke suggested they all knew where her husband was and added that Ridge had finally reached his limit.
If Ridge indeed spent the night at Taylor’s, Brooke feared for the future of her marriage.
When Brooke pointed out that Ridge loved her, Eric said no one was disputing that.
Brooke wished she hadn’t defended Deacon in the brawl, but Eric thought anybody in her position would’ve tried to stop the fight.
Although Brooke feared this was the last straw, she refused to give up and left Ridge another apologetic voicemail.
In a moment alone, Brooke thought back on romantic Ridge memories as a song about their destiny played.
When Ridge finally showed up, Brooke hugged him and thanked him for coming back. She apologized profusely and reminded Ridge that he said they could work through this.
However, Ridge argued that he also told Brooke to keep Deacon out of her life.
Instead, Brooke let Deacon in and that led to people getting hurt.
Ridge noted that when it was all said and done, Brooke defended Deacon – though she disagreed that was what happened.
Brooke mentioned how Thomas kept her away from Ridge and wondered if he slept on the couch at the cliff house.
Ridge simply admitted he stayed over there, but Brooke said he belonged here with her.
Brooke reminded Ridge of all the promises they made before noticing that he’d removed his wedding ring.
Brooke asked why Ridge wasn’t wearing it and pushed for answers about what happened last night.
Brooke urged Ridge not to tell her he was giving up on them.
Brooke told Ridge that she loved him so much and begged him to tell her that he loved her too, but Ridge just stood there staring.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge and Brooke are headed for an official breakup – at least for now!
