The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 20, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hung up on furious Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) after answering Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) call.
At the cliff house, Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kept up their efforts to push Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) together.
Even John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) admitted he could see the love.
Taylor acknowledged that she had her own special unspoken language with Ridge and said that was a beautiful thing to share with someone.
After Taylor added that nobody could take it away, she clinked glasses with Ridge as they exchanged a dreamy look.
Once Thomas and Steffy started trashing Brooke, Taylor warned them to stop wishing for the end of Ridge’s marriage.
In a private moment, Ridge thanked Taylor for getting their kids off his back and shared some fun banter with her.
Steffy, Thomas and Finn could all see the chemistry going on from across the room.
While Finn was checking on the children, Thomas talked to Steffy about Ridge technically still being married to Brooke.
Steffy argued that Brooke threw away that commitment a long time ago and had stood in the way of her parents’ reunion long enough.
At Brooke’s place, she spoke to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about having everything ready for her romantic evening with Ridge by the time he finished work.
When Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) arrived, he got the news of Brooke’s surprise before mentioning that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) told him about his visit.
Hope was alarmed over Ridge finding Bill with Brooke and worried this would be a problem.
However, Brooke argued that it wasn’t an issue – though Ridge did make it very clear how he feels about having Bill or Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) there in the house.
Hope feared this romantic night was about what happened with Bill, but Brooke maintained that it was simply about reconnecting with Ridge.
Brooke vowed to “make damn sure that happens” tonight.
At the cabin, Hope kissed Liam and thanked him for being him.
Liam’s concern for Brooke was appreciated, but he hoped that maybe a romantic evening was exactly what Ridge and Brooke needed.
Hope wanted this night to be exactly what her mom wanted it to be, which was a night to bring Brooke and Ridge together.
Back at the main house, Brooke was all dressed up as she put the finishing touches on her romantic setup.
Soon after, Steffy saw that Brooke was calling and answered Ridge’s phone.
Brooke questioned why Steffy was answering for Ridge and wanted her to put her father on.
Steffy said Ridge was already with Taylor and that she wasn’t going to disturb him.
Brooke argued that she was Ridge’s wife, but Steffy warned that wouldn’t be the case for long.
Once Brooke insisted Ridge should come home as soon as possible, Steffy fired back that he was home already and ultimately hung up on her.
Thomas asked what Steffy planned on doing if Brooke came over, but she wasn’t worried about that. Steffy just wanted to get Brooke out of the way – once and for all!
At Deacon’s place, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was restless as she looked in the fridge and paced around.
However, a smile came across Sheila’s face as she thought back to holding Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris).
Deacon looked at a mysterious text on his phone before noticing the mischievous look on Sheila’s face.
After Sheila said she was just thinking about her grandson, Deacon pushed her to give up on reuniting with Finn and Hayes.
Deacon turned down Sheila’s offer to shower together, but he joked about her perhaps needing a spanking and once again insisted her reunion dream would never happen.
Sheila gripped Deacon’s face menacingly and warned never to say never to her.
Deacon insisted he was just trying to help, but Sheila complained about being stuck in limbo.
Despite feeling trapped, Sheila still considered the possibility of being in Finn and Hayes’ lives.
Deacon said he wouldn’t always be around to be the voice of reason and admitted he had to meet somebody, though he wasn’t sure who it was.
After Deacon told Sheila to stay put, he added that she shouldn’t do anything crazy.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon’s cryptic message will lead to him connecting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) over on The Young and the Restless.
