The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 6, teases that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) invite will surprise Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) get a last-minute rescue.
At the cabin, Thomas will have another strategy to help Hope see things his way. Since Thomas believes Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) belongs with him at the Forrester mansion, he’s trying to get Hope on his side while still being sensitive to her feelings.
Hope is already starting to waver when it comes to the best place for Douglas, so Thomas will hope he can give her another nudge. As part of his plan, Thomas will suggest Hope should attend a Forrester family dinner.
That way, Hope can be included and see for herself that Douglas is happier than ever. It looks like Hope will accept Thomas’ offer, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will suspect this is another manipulative move later.
Liam doesn’t trust Thomas and will feel the need to protect Hope from his twisted tactics, but Hope won’t share the same perspective. This could lead to some “Lope” marriage conflict soon enough, but Liam will no doubt think that’s exactly what Thomas wants.
In the meantime, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will pull Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in opposite directions. Ridge will get stuck in the middle of the Douglas war when Taylor and Brooke push him to pick a side.
Of course, Ridge has already voiced his support for Thomas, so Taylor will feel like he should stand by that decision. Brooke, on the other hand, will urge Ridge to shift his allegiance to Hope and keep Douglas’ life at the cabin intact.
It’s hard to imagine Ridge turning against his son at this point, so he may stick with his Thomas support. Nevertheless, Ridge may also argue that the best possible solution is for Thomas and Hope to come to a peaceful agreement.
Other B&B spoilers say Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will rely on some quick thinking and come up with a plot to stop Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) in her tracks. Disguised Sheila has been spying on Finn and Steffy outside the cliff house, but Deacon will thwart whatever move she has planned.
It sounds like Deacon will block “Lina” from interacting with Steffy and Finn for now, but she won’t give up – and that’s going to be a big problem for Deacon moving forward. As other B&B news emerges, we’ll provide more updates.
