The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, September 5, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) snooped outside the cliff house and watched John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) hug Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Let’s talk about how all Monday’s B&B drama played out.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, Sheila insisted that he didn’t have to babysit her, but he was worried about her pulling another stunt. After Sheila defended her disguise, she pointed out that Finn had a huge forgiving heart and still loved her.
Deacon felt that Sheila was delusional if she believed she could bond with Finn now. Since Finn thought Sheila was dead, Deacon warned her to let it go. Sheila refused to believe she’d never have a relationship with her son and secretly snuck out in disguise later.
At the cliff house, Steffy fished to find out Finn’s true feelings on Sheila’s death. Finn wished Sheila had been different and couldn’t fathom all the horrible things she’d done.
Even so, a tiny part of Finn couldn’t forget that Sheila gave birth to him and made it so he could be there with Steffy.
While Finn and Steffy embraced, “Lina” aka Sheila lurked outside and watched through the glass door. Sheila insisted that someday she’d be holding Finn again and vowed that his mama would always love him.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) talked to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and her mom about Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) having fun at the Forrester mansion. Liam just hoped that one visit didn’t change Hope’s mind about where Douglas should primarily live.
Brooke agreed as Liam talked about how they couldn’t forget Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) past. Hope wasn’t doing that, but she also wondered if maybe this move is what Douglas wanted and needed.
At the Forrester estate, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) ranted about Brooke’s influence on Hope and how this was turning into a Logan and Forrester tug of war. Thomas, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) were also part of the conversation.
Thomas understood Hope’s concerns about uprooting Douglas and suggested there was a lot to consider. Although Thomas hadn’t changed his mind about Douglas coming to live with him, he wanted to be sensitive to Hope’s feelings.
At the cabin, Hope recalled when Thomas said that Douglas would ideally live with both of them – and that unlike Liam, he was a one-woman man. When Thomas appeared in the doorway, he noted that Hope seemed lost in thought.
While Brooke was reflecting on romantic “Bridge” memories at home, Taylor spoke to Ridge alone at the Forrester manse. There was talk about how Ridge vowed to be there for his family, which Taylor really appreciated.
Although Ridge had moved back in with Brooke, Taylor admitted it felt like he was there with her when he called her “Doc.” After Taylor moved in close, she kissed Ridge’s cheek tenderly.
