The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 10, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rejected Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) copout – Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) delayed the inevitable by giving Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) all the time he needed to open up.
At the cliff house, Taylor acted like things were complicated with Ridge, but Steffy said complications were a copout. Now that Steffy knew how precious life was, she felt it was important to go after what you want.
Once John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) returned from his doctor’s appointment, he assured Steffy that he was doing remarkably well. Finn would stay on the same meds that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) had him on, but he could resume normal activity.
After Taylor made herself scarce, Finn and Steffy let passion erupt in the bedroom. Steffy said she’d never take another moment for granted and suggested they should show how much they loved each other.
At the cabin on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) sizzled as well. Hope appreciated these moments where they could just bask in each other’s love.
Meanwhile, Brooke asked what was bothering Ridge, so he said he got swept up with Taylor in Monaco. Brooke knew it must’ve been an overwhelming experience and acted like it was fine that Ridge couldn’t explain.
From Brooke’s perspective, those were special memories for Taylor and Ridge to share. Ridge said it was a lot to process, so Brooke suggested he could tell her in his own time.
Afterward, Brooke visited the cabin and filled “Lope” in on how overwhelmed Ridge was. A sudden shift – no matter how wonderful – could throw you off in Brooke’s opinion.
Liam seemed surprised over how supportive Brooke was being over Ridge and Taylor’s time in Monaco. Brooke pointed out that Ridge was living with her now, but she didn’t want him to have to choose between her and his family with Taylor.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge’s thoughts once again drifted to that Monaco kiss. Taylor arrived and assured Ridge that he was welcome anytime at the cliff house – just not this afternoon.
Ridge got updates on Taylor taking off so that Finn and Steffy could have privacy, so he got the picture. After Taylor acknowledged how amazing Steffy’s second chance with Finn was, she wondered what could be better except a third chance or whatever number you might be on.
