The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 17, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was somewhat drunk when he indulged in Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) passion, so the redhead’s hot visit in the dark fooled him.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) asked if Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) kissed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but he said they kissed each other and blamed it on the joy of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion.
Brooke also questioned what kind of kiss it was, so Ridge admitted it was a real one.
When Brooke asked if that meant Ridge’s feelings were real too, he acted like those feelings couldn’t compete with the ones he felt for his wife.
Although Brooke was disappointed and hurt, she locked lips with Ridge and acknowledged that he’d forgiven a lot of her own kisses.
Brooke decided to forgive this one and just move past it.
From there, Brooke brought up the custody drama and argued that Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) needed to stay with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Ridge disagreed and reassured Brooke that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t backslide, but she pushed him to support her daughter, not his son.
At the cliff house, Taylor confessed that her kiss with Ridge was epic.
Steffy urged Taylor to take charge, so Taylor said she was done being passive and believed in her relationship with Ridge.
Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas stopped by the cabin to insist he should be Douglas’ primary parent.
After Thomas revealed that Eric Forrester (John McCook) approved of him moving in with Douglas, talk turned to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Hope insisted Liam treated Douglas like he was his own son, but Thomas argued that Douglas was his son instead.
Thomas wasn’t comfortable with Liam being a full-time father figure and was done letting “Lope” make decisions without him.
Hope was visibly upset, but Thomas pushed her not to fight him on this and wanted Douglas to stay the night with him tomorrow.
At Il Giardino, Deacon threw back some drinks as another bartender urged him to slow down.
Deacon got a reminder about his parole officer checking in tomorrow, but he insisted he wouldn’t do anything that might send him back to prison.
After Deacon spotted a redhead with glasses, he became intrigued by her.
Deacon thought he was picking up on some interest from the mystery woman, who was obviously Sheila in disguise.
The other bartender confirmed there was a vibe, so Deacon nodded at the redhead – and then she showed up at his door soon after.
Deacon said he didn’t know who she was, but he’d sure like to know what was on her mind.
It wasn’t long until Deacon removed disguised Sheila’s glasses and threw her up against the door passionately.
Sheila pushed Deacon’s shirt back before he hoisted her on the desk and then onto the nearby cot.
In other words, Deacon hooked up with Sheila, but the combination of her disguise, alcohol and the darkened room made it so he didn’t notice!
