The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 14, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will return to Los Angeles with a lot on his mind. Although Ridge took Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) advice and left town to figure out what he wanted, he may not have all the answers just yet.
Eric Forrester (John McCook) will no doubt be proud of Brooke for knowing her worth and spelling out what she needs.
Brooke doesn’t want to take waffling Ridge back and set herself up for more heartbreak.
That’s exactly what Brooke would be doing if Ridge couldn’t make a real commitment to her.
Eric may remind Ridge of all that since he’ll school his son on love, mistakes and making things right.
B&B spoilers say Eric will get brutally honest with Ridge about how he’s treated Brooke and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Eric may acknowledge his own blunders with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), but he saw a clear path forward with Donna in the end.
Unless Ridge can find that clear path forward as well, he can’t build a solid romantic future.
Ridge will understand that, but he’ll still struggle to choose one woman and devastate the other.
However, it appears a twist is coming up in this whole saga of Ridge’s big decision. Before we get to that, we should talk about Taylor coming home with some clarity.
Taylor will realize how wrong it was to even think of marrying Ridge while keeping Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) secret.
We’ll see Taylor get emotional over her dire effort to marry Ridge and how she was willing to sacrifice her integrity.
Taylor let herself believe Thomas had put the work in and become a better man.
In reality, Thomas obviously needs much more professional help from an outside party – someone who can be objective since his mother can’t.
Taylor will remain grateful that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stopped the wedding and may apologize to Brooke once again.
The truth is Ridge has driven both Brooke and Taylor to their breaking point with his disrespectful flip-flopping.
That brings us to the twist we mentioned. By the time Wednesday’s B&B episode winds down, Ridge may be ready to deliver updates to Taylor and Brooke on his choice.
Brooke and Taylor should gear up to deliver some news of their own since they’ll be on the same page.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that both Taylor and Brooke will be ready to cut Ridge loose within the next episode or two, so stay tuned!
