The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, February 9 Recap – Brooke’s Plan Shocks Deacon - Hope Fears Forrester-Logan War

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 9, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) feared the Forrester-Logan war was back on – and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) learned Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) plan.

At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) kept insisting that the truth had to come out – that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had to know what Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) did on New Year’s Eve.

Taylor knew she wouldn’t be a friend if she didn’t tell Ridge what Brooke had been keeping from him.

Ridge argued that he already knew and managed to convince Taylor that he actually did.

Taylor seemed confused as she asked if Ridge was OK with what Brooke did.

Ridge asked how Taylor found out and admitted that Brooke told him what happened.

However, Ridge argued that Brooke felt terrible about drinking on New Year’s Eve and that she got right back on the wagon.

Taylor was stunned and assured Ridge she had no idea about Brooke’s drinking, though it might explain what went down that night.

Taylor went on to talk about how there had to be a limit to what Ridge could put up with.

Taylor insisted Ridge’s commitment was misplaced and that she’d have empathy if Brooke had merely fallen off the wagon.

Taylor reminded Ridge that Brooke turned to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) not too long ago – another man that Ridge despised.

Taylor felt Ridge was someone who deserved to be loved, honored, respected and appreciated. Taylor didn’t think Brooke was capable of that.

Ridge grew increasingly upset over Taylor’s criticism of his wife, but Taylor said Brooke had an inherent flaw.

Taylor thought Brooke had an insatiable need to be desired by other men and added that’s who Brooke was at her core.

Ridge didn’t want to listen to this anymore, but Taylor insisted Brooke was with another man Ridge despised on New Year’s Eve – a man who had been infiltrating his life for the past couple months.

Ridge didn’t think it was a big deal that Deacon was at the house since he left with Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and the kids.

Taylor then revealed that Deacon came back. She added that Brooke betrayed her vows to Ridge with Deacon.

At Brooke’s place, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) said she was sorry if the truth hurt.

Brooke asked what truth Steffy was referring to – that Steffy never wanted her in Ridge’s life, much less married to him?

Brooke always hoped Steffy would come around, but Steffy countered that she hoped Brooke would never hurt Ridge again.

Steffy guessed that was wishful thinking and balked when Brooke tried to get rid of her.

After Steffy asked if Brooke was throwing her out, Brooke replied that she was asking Steffy to leave so that the situation wouldn’t escalate.

Steffy felt she had a right to question Brooke’s commitment to Ridge, but Brooke said Steffy had been very vocal about her stance over the years.

Brooke knew Steffy wanted her parents together, but she argued that Ridge made his choice.

“And nothing could possibly change that…or so you think!” Steffy fired back.

Steffy suggested Brooke’s mistakes weren’t behind her and taunted her over being so into Deacon that she betrayed her own daughter, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones).

Brooke couldn’t figure out why Steffy was suddenly spewing such animosity, but Steffy snapped that her family had been destroyed because of her.

Steffy added that Brooke had always been smug about it, but she warned that Brooke was going to get what’s coming to her sooner than she thinks.

At the cabin, Hope was pensive as Liam came home after getting her text.

Liam was surprised when Hope said Brooke was going to tell Ridge everything that happened that night.

Hope worried this could cost Brooke the love of her life, though she did admit Brooke and Ridge had been through far worse.

Even so, Hope was concerned with Taylor back in town.

Hope was sure Steffy would love it if Ridge turned to Taylor again, but she didn’t want the “stupid” Forrester and Logan rivalry to start back up.

Hope couldn’t imagine that Steffy wanted that either.

Liam felt like this was between Ridge and Brooke at the end of the day, so all they could do is keep being there for Brooke no matter what.

As Liam thought back to that night, he suggested everything would’ve been different if Deacon hadn’t left his phone.

Hope was surprised by that comment and hoped Liam wasn’t suggesting that Deacon left it there on purpose.

Liam clarified that he just meant Brooke wouldn’t be going through all this if Deacon hadn’t come back to the house.

In Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) hotel room, she kept pumping Deacon for info.

Sheila could tell something else happened besides drinking and figured Deacon slipped up with his “if Ridge only knew” comment.

Deacon barked at Sheila to stop causing problems for Brooke and ultimately left in a huff.

After Sheila was alone, she vowed to find out everything one way or another. Sheila intended to bury Brooke Logan once and for all!

Back at the cabin, Deacon walked in on Liam and Hope discussing his night with Brooke.

Hope admitted that Brooke couldn’t go on like this – that the secret was consuming Brooke’s entire life when she should be focusing on her sobriety and taking care of herself.

Hope revealed that Brooke was going to tell Ridge everything that happened with Deacon that night, so Deacon stood there in shock.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke obviously won’t confess in time, so that’ll make this disaster even worse.
