The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, November 30, teases that Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) marriage verdict will be revealed while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) leaves a trail of destruction.
At the Forrester mansion, a tearful Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is still clinging to hope that Ridge will keep all the promises he made.
Ridge made some significant vows in Aspen and even more recently in LA, but that was before he knew the truth about Thomas’ CPS call deception.
Although Ridge previously claimed he wasn’t with Taylor because of Brooke’s guilt, it’s clear that Thomas’ scheme altered his romantic fate. Ridge only dumped Brooke and reunited with Taylor because of Thomas’ manipulation.
At this point, Ridge can either honor the new commitment he made to Taylor or return to the old one he made to Brooke.
We can’t forget Ridge also broke plenty of promises to Brooke when he walked away – and now he knows he annulled his marriage for no real reason.
Ridge will no doubt assure Taylor of his love, but sometimes that isn’t enough. Thomas lied through his Brooke frame-up – and then Taylor lied by omission when she nearly married Ridge while keeping the secret.
Even Ridge lied when he said the CPS call wasn’t the reason for his Taylor reunion, so it isn’t wise to build a future on this mountain of deception.
Ridge certainly doesn’t want to hurt Taylor, but it would be strange for him to ignore everything that’s gone down and move ahead with the wedding.
It would only set Taylor up for more heartache anyway.
Let’s hope that means Ridge will end this engagement since Taylor’s freedom would be the best thing for her.
As for Ridge, he’ll get ready to tell Brooke the whole ugly Thomas story soon enough.
While Ridge gears up for his shocking admission, B&B spoilers say Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will rip into Thomas for sinking so low and leaving a trail of destruction.
Thomas’ plot has done some serious damage, so Steffy will want him to understand the gravity of the situation.
However, Thomas will continue to reserve some blame for Steffy since she’s the one who blew up his big secret.
