The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have to suffer alone for a while thanks to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) double rejection. Taylor and Brooke are banding together to choose themselves over Ridge, but what does that mean for his romantic future?
Of course, we’ve seen other characters like Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) get their “I choose me” moment.
It’s just a bold way of taking a stand and demanding some respect.
That certainly doesn’t mean permanent single status, especially when this show uses romantic drama as its main draw.
Ridge will have to deal with the single life for a while, but he’s not going to be a bachelor forever.
This is simply a great way of teaching Ridge a lesson and helping him understand that it’s not always about him!
Ridge is used to women fighting over him constantly, but it’s time for him to fight for love instead.
It’s just a matter of whether Ridge will fight for Brooke, Taylor or someone else. There’s a good chance it’ll be Brooke who gets a Ridge reunion in the end.
Ridge thought maybe he was wrong about his destiny, but that was only because Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) manipulated the situation.
In reality, Brooke and Ridge’s destiny has never wavered – at least from a writing standpoint.
That’s why Ridge was always flashing back to fond Brooke memories and gazing longingly at her photo.
If Ridge had truly been committed to Taylor, he wouldn’t have been pining for his former wife.
This was back when Ridge still believed Brooke called CPS, so his feelings have to be even stronger now that he knows the truth.
It seems likely Ridge would’ve chosen Brooke if he’d been given the chance following his soul-searching trip, so he may have to fight for chance now.
Let’s be real and point out that Brooke doesn’t have much willpower when it comes to Ridge. This is the love of Brooke’s life and the man she views as her soulmate.
There’s just no way Brooke will be able to guard her heart like a fortress, especially if Ridge pulls out all the stops to get her back – and that’s probably where this storyline is headed.
Ridge may take some time to sulk and figure out his next move, but his heart will surely guide him to fight for Brooke and their future together.
Although Ridge will have to make some updates to the way he treats Brooke, he may be rewarded down the road.
There should be good news for “Bridge” fans since Brooke and Ridge still appear to be the endgame B&B couple.
