The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that fans are asking if John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will return to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) before Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) loses Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Things could get tricky since Liam is already feeling pulled back in Steffy’s direction!
During the week of May 2-6, Steffy will struggle with her emotions after her homecoming at the cliff house.
Since Liam will spend the night with Steffy, he’ll be there to say all the right things and make sure Steffy’s grief doesn’t consume her.
Although Liam will support Steffy platonically at first, B&B fans know how stories like this tend to go!
Steffy and Liam’s connection is being played up in a big way, so they could be on the verge of reuniting romantically.
Hope is trying to keep herself from panicking at the possibility, but you can see the fear in her eyes.
For reasons that defy logic, Hope adores Liam when she clearly can’t trust him around his ex.
If Hope has to worry this much about Liam’s loyalty, why does she even want him? Why should Steffy want Liam either for that matter?
This is the problem B&B runs into when they continually put Liam at the center of a love triangle with Hope and Steffy.
They’ve both had their hearts broken too many times for this to be believable anymore!
That’s also why so many viewers were thrilled when Steffy finally found a loyal new man in Finn.
The show’s been trying to sell Finn’s death, but Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) wasn’t behaving like a grieving mother when she showed up at the hospital.
Li acted more like an angry mother who was fed up and determined to protect her still very much alive son.
The dialogue backed up this idea since Li kept insisting she would take care of Finn now – and there was an interesting look between Li and Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin), too.
A secret partnership will be revealed during the week of May 9-13, so that could easily be Baker and Li’s alliance to protect Finn.
Since Finn seems to be recovering in hiding, this story may become a matter of whether Steffy will get her husband back before she falls in love with her old hubby again.
For drama’s sake, Steffy and Liam might rekindle something just before Finn resurfaces.
That could certainly make things complicated and perhaps create a love quad if Finn commiserates with Hope.
Of course, it’s also possible the show just wanted to dangle the possibility of “Steam” before giving Steffy a miraculous reunion with back-from-the-dead Finn.
Regardless, Finn is the devoted love interest Steffy needs, so let’s hope “Sinn” is the endgame here!
