In tonight’s The Masked Singer episode, it was the Round 3 Finals! There was Team Good, Team Bad, and Team Cuddly. Each came with an amazing voice and an even better story. But up first was the Prince. His clue package was about Carnegie Hall. There was a toy plane. There were also singer/songwriter clues. He admitted that he had some struggles before he was able to achieve success and so there’s no telling who he could be. Someone did shout out John Travolta when they saw that package. There was just one thing off about that. The Prince didn’t sound like John Travolta. He performed “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder. And his voice while amazing, hadn’t reached the high octanes of John Travolta.

There’s a reason John was able to play a woman in the “Hairspray” movie. But when it came time to give their thoughts about it officially, Jenny thought he was a boy bander. She was thinking either Backstreet Boys or Nsync. Robyn was onboard with JC from Nsync. Except he thought the Prince was a Broadway star. He was thinking of Ben Platt because of last week’s clues. Nicole also thought of Broadway because she was thinking of Andrew Rannells, Rannells played a royal for his stint in “Hamilton”. So, there’s no telling who was behind the mask at that time. The next performer was the Space Bunny.

The Space Bunny was the last remaining member of Team Cuddly. His clues were a bit all over the place because there was a dog and there was a crown. It also left behind a trail of red hot chili peppers. But no one noticed the peppers. The judges didn’t talk about it. Nick couldn’t mention it. This might be one of those clues that just flew right on by. The Space Bunny went on to perform “Now That We Found Love”. A nineties classic. Something that Ken seemed to appreciate because he was Team Cuddly and then he came out with his guesses. Ken’s a prankster yet he seemed serious when he named the Space Bunny Owen Wilson.

Owen Wilson was in “The Royal Tenenbaums” and “Marley & Me”. The crow and the dog are both being explained. The others thought differently. Robyn thought the Space Bunny was Shaggy. Jenny thought the Space Bunny was Sean Kingston because she remembered that crown. Only they all failed to mention the red hot chili peppers. Then there was the next performer. Up next was Queen Cobras. The Queen Cobras finally admitted there were three of them. They’ve been dropping hints that there was more than one person only tonight it was confirmed that there are in fact three of them and that they were all singers.

The Queen Cobras performed the song “Leave the Door Open”. Their voices all shined during the performance and that plus their clue package had everyone all over the place. There had been a heart, there had been a picture of Ariana Grande as well as Mariah Carey (Not that Nick had anything to with it), and then there were the voices which were the biggest clue of all. Ken thought the Queen Cobras were everyone who performed the song “Bang Bang”. Meaning Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Niki Minaj. But the other judges booed this decision. And so Nicole went next and she managed to tie all the clues together when she guessed “En Vogue”.

Everybody was buying that choice more than any other. Only, everyone was in the dark about the three contestants and not even a second performance from the crew was able to draw out answers. Team Good, Team Bad, and Team Cuddly all performed the song “Roar” by Katy Perry. The judges got to hear different pitches of their voices and they were ready for their final decision when host Nick announced who was eliminated. The first contestant eliminated was the Space Bunny. The judges gave him the last ovation before they all came up with their guesses. Ken was sticking by Owen Wilson.

Jenny was also sticking to her clue of Sean Kingston. Robyn was doing the same. He thought the Space Bunny was Shaggy and Nicole agreed with him because she also thought the Space Bunny was Shaggy. But the Space Bunny took off his mask. He was revealed to be Shaggy and so two of the judges were at least right. Ken however was so far off the mark that it was laughable. Now, the contestant that grabbed the last spot in the Season Finale was the Prince. He was a nice guy and he expressed gratitude for being able to share a stage with the Queen Cobras, but the Queens were eliminated and so they were unmasked.

Ken was sticking by his Bang Bang theory. Nicole still believed they were En Vogue. Jenny was doubling down on En Vogue while Robyn thought they were SWV. And so at least two of them were right when the Queen Cobras were revealed to be En Vogue.

But don’t worry, Ken apologized.

THE END!
