Tonight’s The Walking Dead episode begins with Eugene, there is total chaos amongst the Commonwealth and he is trying to find Max.

Pamela is with her son’s corpse, she says in spite of what people thought she was trying to help. They had their issues. She turns over to look at Mercer at tells him that she needs an example to show the people that actions have consequences, she wants him to find Eugene.

The Commonwealth start interrogating Eugene’s closest associates, but they are not going to say anything.

When they find Max and Eugene, he will probably be executed and she will get off with a slap on the wrist.

Mercer goes in to question Rosita, but there is no way she is going to say anything. He tells her to have Eugene turn himself in, if he doesn’t it will make it harder on her and her people, she smiles, laughs inside herself, and walks out.

Daryl is sharpening his knife, he is in a church. They compare notes about meeting Mercer, it was all the same. Eugene walks out of a doorway, he asks about Max, but Rosita has no idea where she is. She says that they need to do is get Eugene out of there. Eugene says he can’t leave without Max.

Aaron, Jerry, Lydia, and Elijah are making their way back to Oceanside and Alexandria, but first have to camp out in a weird kind of themed fairy tale town, maybe from an old amusement park.

Pamela is wiping the blood from her son’s face, she has him strapped down to protect herself when he turns. She tells him at least they don’t have to disappoint each other anymore, and then, he begins turning, gets up, and tells an officer of the Commonwealth to take care of it.

Princess is with Mercer in a room, she tells him that Eugene is a good man and what is the point of this place if they put a good man down.

Max is on the run, and Rosita sees her and tells her to hide, the Commonwealth is there, but it is too late, Max is caught and Rosita witnesses the whole thing.

Mercer gets Max to read a confession, if she signs it she will get a pardon. She says she did what she did because she didn’t want to be a part of something so rotten. He tells her that they are going to execute her for treason, he is trying to save her. She tells him that their father would have liked Eugene, and been ashamed of him. She refuses to sign the confession.

Daryl catches Eugene peeking through a window and asks him if he is trying to get caught. Then Eugene tells Daryl to step aside before this gets ugly, Eugene puts up his fists, and Daryl tells him to go ahead. Daryl won’t stop him from leaving, he tells him he ain’t going. Eugene sits down and says he is a coward. Daryl says no, he is smart.

Pamela goes to see Lance in his prison cell, he thanks her for coming, he has a lot to say. She says he killed her son. He says he never intended for her son to die. He took a gamble and it didn’t go the way he wanted. He says he was always there for her and Sebastien. He blames the people from Hilltop and Alexandria, he says they will never stop until they take everything. She reaches in his pocket and finds a coin, she says if he lives, he gets to live. She puts both hands forward, the coin is one of them and he chooses the correct hand. He thanks her and she replies with the coin in his pocket. He tells her that he will be better from now on, he promises. The Commonwealth police bring in Sebastien in all his walker glory, she shows Lance what is left of her son. They dumb another body on the ground and Pamela tells him that the body is still warm, feeding her son.

Mercer asks Princess if they can talk, and she says this is awkward. He doesn’t want her to leave. She tells him that he is great, but she has to get out of there, Eugene is going to die there. She says nothing has been easy for her. Her dad bailed when she was 9, dad number two brought an evil step-brother, a lot of yelling and shouting, her mom let it happen just to keep him around. She was tied up and thrown in the closet when she acted out. They would take turns beating her. She says life could be better, it should be. This place is starting to look a lot like her stepdad and she is not her mom, so she has to go.

A horde of walkers comes into fairy tale land, Aaron and the group fight against them and try to get to safety. They see a door opening and shut it. Climbing to the rafters in the roof is the only way out. Aaron, Jerry, Lydia, and Elijah are caught on top, Jerry looks hurt, and behind him a walk is climbing up. Aaron saves him in the nick of time. Aaron thinks he is a whisperer, but he tears the face-off and it is a walker, they just seem to be getting smarter.

Once the dust settles, Aaron tells Jerry he has heard about these walkers before, that come back to places they know and they can climb walls.

Rosita tells Eugene she found Max, but she is not coming. Eugene doesn’t wasn’t to go, Rosita warns him that they will kill him. He just can’t see a path without Max.

Eugene turns himself into the Commonwealth and says he acted alone.

Rosita gets jumped by two guys, then what appears to be a bag going over her head.

THE END!
