The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will strike a Jabot deal, so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will walk in on his dad’s risky business move.
Y&R fans know Jack recently offered Adam a job at Jabot, so Adam agreed to mull it over.
Jack is truly hoping Adam will take him up on this offer and build a new path for himself.
Adam is a talented executive who could bring a lot to the table, so Jack would certainly like to have him at the company.
Jack mentioned wanting Adam to take Kyle’s place, which would make him Jack’s co-CEO.
Kyle is busy with the launch of the Marchetti reboot, but he’ll keep an eye on what’s happening at the mothership.
When Kyle enters Jack’s office, he’ll spot his dad shaking hands with Adam and immediately look concerned.
Adam doesn’t exactly have a reputation for being trustworthy around town, so Kyle may wonder if Jack’s sure about this.
Based on that handshake, it sounds like Adam will accept Jack’s offer and make his Jabot future official.
Kyle may side with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about this being a mistake and grow fearful, but Jack will have faith in Adam.
Of course, Kyle might also point out the risks of riling Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) up with a move like this.
Victor previously wanted Adam to reenter the Newman fold, but he’ll have to watch his son cross over into enemy territory instead.
Kyle may worry they could make themselves targets and create unnecessary drama.
Even if the fight is fair, Victor is a ruthless businessman and not someone you want going after you.
Since Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is Victor’s granddaughter, Kyle knows exactly how Victor operates.
This could lead to Jabot and Newman Enterprises feuding big time, but Jack may suggest Victor can bring it on.
A little healthy competition may be welcome in Jack’s opinion, but his battle with Victor could also take a personal turn sooner or later.
