The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may surrender to temptation. Will these exes find that they just can’t fight their magnetic pull any longer?
Sally fought hard to convince Adam that he should drop this whole charade.
Since Sally could tell Adam still loved her deep down, she initially hoped she could crack his resolve and spark a reunion.
However, Sally has been badly hurt at this point, so she’s trying to have some self-respect.
It’s clear that Sally is done begging Adam to see the light, but that doesn’t mean she’s done with Adam in general.
Adam is obviously still on Sally’s mind – as evidenced by all the romantic “Ally” flashbacks in the August 9 episode.
Sally can barely stay focused on work since she’s busy daydreaming of Adam.
We’ve seen Adam struggle with his own Sally memories, so how long will it be until these two can’t handle the temptation anymore?
Sally and Adam have a very passionate connection that’s going to be tough to break.
It’s probably helping that Adam isn’t working in such close quarters with Sally, but these two are still going to find reasons to interact.
Y&R characters tend to have surprise run-ins frequently, so Sally and Adam will remain in each other’s orbit.
Adam and Sally have become a popular, sizzling couple for the show, so the writers may want to keep that in mind.
Since Sally and Adam have built up a nice fan base, they might come back together in some form sooner rather than later.
Even if Adam and Sally don’t reunite just yet, they could still let their passion erupt with a hot hookup.
Perhaps Sally and Adam just won’t be able to handle their intense mutual feelings.
Of course, Adam and Sally might agree it was a mistake in the aftermath – one that can never happen again.
That could set the stage for it to happen again anyway, so Sally and Adam might wonder if they can really deny what’s in their hearts.
