The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will seek a fresh start away from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will want his own new beginning with his wayward son.
Victor has certainly been frustrated with Adam in recent months, but he’ll be pleased when he realizes Adam has given up on Sally.
That’ll be good news as far as Victor’s concerned and could give him hope for the future.
Although Victor would love for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to step back from Sally as well, he’ll at least be glad there’s not a brother battle for her heart anymore.
Victor may think Nick will come around to his way of thinking, especially since Sally waffled back to Adam while trying to decide between them.
Regardless, Sally is now all in on Nick, so Adam’s freedom gives him a clean slate.
Of course, Adam can pursue other romantic options if he chooses to. That may be something Victor encourages – though he may not like it much when Adam inevitably drifts back in Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) direction.
Even so, Victor will have a hopeful Adam attitude during the week of December 19-23.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will want a chance to rebuild his relationship with Adam and maybe even bring him back into the Newman fold someday.
The fact that Adam finally walked away from Sally may be a good sign in Victor’s eyes.
It could show some maturity and leave Victor thinking that Adam might be more willing to listen to him, too.
This could turn into a “new year, new Adam” situation since 2023 is just around the corner.
Will Adam turn his life around in some surprising ways and repair his fractured bond with Victor?
Adam will always crave his father’s approval whether he wants to admit it or not, so reconnecting could be a positive development for both of them.
Although Adam may not be coming back to Newman Enterprises anytime soon, he might make some progress on a personal level with Victor as 2022 winds down.
