The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will beg Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to run away together. Ashland will waver on framing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so he’ll tug at his wife’s heartstrings and leave Victoria somewhat torn.
Y&R fans know Victoria was devastated and furious when she finally accepted the truth of what Ashland did.
Victoria’s eyes were finally opened to the fake cancer crisis and what Ashland was capable of.
It forced Victoria to accept that Ashland’s love for her was a lie, but she’ll soon have a reason to wonder if he loves her after all.
During the week of April 11-15, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will question Victoria about her own love for Ashland.
Nick will sense that maybe Victoria hasn’t truly put her scoundrel of a husband in the rearview mirror.
Unfortunately, Victoria’s response won’t do much to ease Nick’s mind.
After Victoria basically admits she can’t turn her feelings off like a light switch, she’ll argue that whether she loves Ashland or not doesn’t matter.
Victoria will assure Nick that she’s committed to Ashland’s takedown, but he won’t be so sure when part of her clearly still loves Ashland.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have concerns of his own – and you can bet Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will, too.
Victoria’s current goal is to give Ashland a nudge toward framing Adam and catch him planting evidence.
That way, Victoria can cut Ashland out of Newman-Locke based on his dirty move.
However, Ashland will throw Victoria for a loop when he wavers on Adam’s setup.
Ashland will suggest that maybe he should just forget about trying to prove Adam’s guilt.
Ashland will act like there’s a chance for a fresh start away from Victoria’s doubting family and will propose leaving Genoa City together.
The idea of a new beginning with Ashland will appeal to Victoria on some level.
That’s especially true since this will serve as validation that perhaps the whole marriage wasn’t a lie.
Victoria will consider the possibility that despite his many flaws and horrible lies, Ashland really does love her and want a future as a couple.
Of course, the Newman clan will worry about Victoria getting sucked back in – particularly since Ashland could be luring Victoria into a trap.
Ashland can’t be trusted, so Victor will make it clear that Victoria’s husband is too selfish to ever be the man she needs.
Adam will ultimately offer Ashland half a billion dollars to walk away from Victoria and Newman-Locke, so it’s possible Ashland will want to take that money and run with Victoria by his side instead.
Regardless, the situation is getting messy and will bring even more drama.
Will Ashland’s waffling lead to Victoria waffling on her own vengeful plot? Time will tell, but Victor will battle growing fears about what’s ahead!
