The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may fall for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) after Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) rejection. Chelsea keeps going after taken men, so that pattern may continue after Billy shuts her down.
During the week of August 22-26, Chelsea will let her desire for Billy take control.
Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will plant a kiss on Billy in the podcast studio, but he’ll eventually pull back.
Since they’ve developed a nice vibe lately, Chelsea will feel she’s getting mixed signals here.
However, Billy may make it clear that he’s with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and doesn’t want to cross that line.
Based on all the bonding Billy is doing with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and what we know about the Johnny Abbott (soon-to-be Paxton Mishkind) situation, we may be gearing up for a more united “Villy” front. That could leave Chelsea feeling like a rejected outsider.
The show previously did some blatant chemistry testing when it came to Chelsea and Chance, so it might be time to pull the trigger on a romance soon.
Chance will beat himself up for protecting Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) family instead of following the law.
The fact that Abby is happy about his choice will rile Chance up.
It’s easy to see how this could build to some resentment and marriage turmoil. Of course, they could also have Chance go back to feeling like the odd parent out.
Chance has to split time with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) when it comes to being Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) father.
Complicated parenthood is something else that Chance and Chelsea could bond over as they’ve done before.
It’s a little different since Chelsea is Johnny’s bio mom, but it’s the same idea of feeling on the outside of it all.
Chelsea fell for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) before fixating on Billy next. Both men were in committed relationships, so Chelsea may once again select a taken man as the object of her desire.
Since Chance will be having marriage issues, there could be some temptation that pulls him toward Chelsea sooner or later.
