The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) may turn against Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and blame the sneaky Spectra for preventing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) reunion.
Y&R fans know Connor considers Sally a friend – at least for now. They hit it off after Sally stumbled across Connor in the park and babysat him until Adam could get there.
Connor got along with Sally and was eager to hear more of her disastrous, funny stories the next time they met up.
However, things have changed now that Chelsea is back in town.
Connor wants nothing more than to see his parents back together, so he’ll loathe anyone who might serve as a hurdle.
Meanwhile, Adam has repeatedly shut down Chelsea’s talk about reuniting.
Adam hasalso made it clear that although nothing is going on with Sally, it’s his business whether anything does.
Adam doesn’t feel obligated to discuss his personal life with Chelsea unless it involves Connor.
That said, Sally could indeed get to know Connor on a deeper level. If Adam and Sally start officially dating, it’ll just be a matter of time until Connor and Sally are part of the picture for each other.
Regardless, Connor is a smart kid who previously accused Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) of being the reason for his parents’ problems.
It’d be easy for Connor to guess he was wrong and determine that Sally is the real source of trouble.
That’s especially true if Chelsea lets some Sally negativity slip to Connor.
If Chelsea resorts to trashing Sally around her son, you can bet Connor will hate Sally’s guts just as much.
Connor may decide his friendship with Sally is over and make her his new target instead.
Perhaps Connor will let Adam know he doesn’t like Sally and has no interest in her being part of their world.
Connor might even sabotage Adam and Sally’s relationship if one truly starts to bloom.
Bottom line, Connor wants Chelsea and Adam back together, so he could wind up feeling like Sally is a threat to his family’s happiness.
Will Connor decide to do something about that? Will Connor’s manipulative streak come out for a conniving plot or two?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam could face some added complications thanks to Connor’s Sally disapproval, but we’ll see how it all goes down.
