The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the show seems to be shopping Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) around and trying to find the right love interest. Audra and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) clearly have a partnership with benefits, but he truly wants to be with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) – just like Audra truly wants to be with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).
However, Y&R characters can’t always get what they want, so Audra claims to have gotten the message and accepted Noah’s rejection.
That could change down the road, but this might also be the show’s way of moving Audra toward other romantic opportunities.
It would honestly be for the best since Audra and Noah are seriously lacking in the chemistry department.
Of course, Audra has also done some flirting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so he could still be an option for her moving forward.
Audra flirts with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) in the December 21 episode as well, but that could mostly be a case of chem testing.
We’d like to believe the show intends to stick with the Chance and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) romance they’re building since Queen Sharon deserves to do more than poor coffee and dish out advice!
This is Sharon’s time to shine, so hopefully Audra won’t come along and wreck things. Audra would be much better off falling for the one guy in town who’s off-limits.
Y&R has a great story that’s right there for the taking if Audra grows closer to Devon. Naturally, it wouldn’t have to be anything too serious.
It could be as simple as a fling since Devon is trying to deal with his breakup from Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and his growing feelings for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Then again, it could become a legitimate love story if that’s how the writers want to take things.
The point is a Devon and Audra romance would be messy in the best possible way.
Audra is Tucker’s mole at Chancellor-Winters – not to mention she’s sleeping with him.
Can you imagine if Audra started sleeping with Tucker’s biological son, too?
That could put Tucker’s takeover plot with Audra at risk and leave him furious over the news.
It’d be a no-brainer to pair up Devon and Audra for a while, so maybe Audra will keep love interest shopping and land on Devon next.
