The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may team up for revenge, so the Newmans might pay a steep price. Will Adam and Diane once again become a scheming duo on Y&R?
After Diane found out Adam was working at Jabot, she was happy to see a fellow outsider.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) approves of Adam being his co-CEO, but Adam doesn’t have a lot of other fans at the company.
Likewise, Diane isn’t exactly Ms. Popularity – though she’s at least got Jack and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) support.
When Diane told Adam it’d be good to have an ally around, he felt the same.
There’s the potential for a dangerous partnership here, especially since Adam and Diane have plotted together before.
The key will be pushing both schemers to their breaking point and prompting them to take action.
Diane has already had to deal with the drama of Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) article, which she feels certain Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) were behind.
Phyllis also seemingly planted a file on Diane’s computer as part of her sabotage setup.
Now Nikki is headed to Los Angeles to hopefully obtain incriminating Diane info from Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Nikki’s latest move could push Diane over the edge, especially if her plot damages Diane’s relationship with Kyle or hinders the progress she’s made with Jack.
We could see Diane decide it’s time to fight fire with fire.
Fall preview spoilers insist Nikki’s role in this anti-Diane alliance will indeed lead to trouble.
Diane could be driven to seek revenge – though she may be sneaky about it to prevent destroying her new life any further.
On the other hand, Diane might team up with Adam once her world falls apart and she’s got nothing left to lose!
As for Adam, he’s been trying to rise above his usual need for vengeance on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but how long can he really last?
Sooner or later, Adam almost always finds himself wanting payback on his father.
Adam may eventually seek revenge on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as well since he slept with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
It’s easy to see how Adam could be driven over the edge too, so that could set the stage for Diane and Adam to become crucial partners in crime again.
Adam and Diane might agree to help make each other’s enemies suffer.
Since Diane and Adam just so happen to have many mutual foes, this could work out great for them.
The Newmans could be targeted along with Phyllis or anyone else who crosses the line with Diane and Adam.
Now that Adam and Diane have renewed their alliance, it may just be a matter of time until it leads to vengeful problems.
