The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 25, tease that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be back with a warning while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) clash over their new jobs. There’ll be some questions and conflict in Genoa City, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.
First, let’s talk about Jess Walton’s return to the role of Jill Abbott.
It’s always nice when Jill can pop up to offer advice – and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could certainly use some as she continues to settle into the CEO role.
Lily hopes to take Chancellor Industries to new heights with all her big ideas, but she’ll need some guidance from Jill.
That could involve the position itself as well as Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest passion project.
Billy is pretty stoked about his new podcast, so that was probably a big part of why Lily approved it in the end.
Lily was a bit worried about Billy not having enough time for his COO duties, but Billy convinced her he could handle everything.
Even so, Lily may wonder if she’s letting Billy bite off more than he can chew.
Perhaps Jill will think Lily made the right call since Billy always needs a distraction to stay out of trouble.
That said, Jill may also warn Lily to keep an eye on Billy just in case.
There’s also the matter of all the new job offers Lily has been handing out.
Jill might urge Lily to make sure she’s really thinking these decisions through and not rushing into anything.
It turns out Lily will call a special meeting, so that could be what leads to some issues between Imani and Amanda.
Regardless, there’ll be something Amanda and Imani disagree on, so they’ll spar as they try to nail down what their working arrangement will look like.
Although Imani and Amanda should find common ground eventually, this could be the start of their sibling rivalry reigniting.
Sometimes it isn’t a good idea for sisters to work together, especially when one has seniority like Amanda does.
