The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 15, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will rage over Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) visit while Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) trick brings the cops. Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At the park, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will spot Ashland looking like he’s waiting for someone, so she’ll realize it’s Harrison and snap about the restraining order.
Ashland won’t get why Phyllis is acting like it’s some heinous crime for him to want to see his son.
After trading barbs with Phyllis, Ashland will seem frustrated until he hears Harrison call out to him.
Diane will look uncomfortable as Harrison hugs Ashland, who’ll claim he’s been busy with work and might have to leave again soon.
Once Diane flashes back to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) asking for her help, she’ll offer to get Italian ice nearby while Harrison chats with Ashland.
That’ll leave Ashland choked up in gratitude, but Diane will keep Harrison in her sight and secretly text Michael about the situation.
At Society, Michael will explain why he’s hoping Ashland will violate the restraining order, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be skeptical about Diane assisting with the setup.
Michael will act like Diane turned him down anyway before he mentions getting thrown off the Los Angeles case.
It turns out that before Michael got the boot, his PI firm found that Diane’s record was pristine.
Nikki will think her own investigator just needs to dig deeper, but Michael will question if Nikki has never needed forgiveness for anything.
After Nikki suggests she’s never done anything that sunk to that level of evil, Michael will get a text from Diane and hint about her step torward rectifying the past.
At Chancellor-Winters, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will show Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann) some pics that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) sent from Hawaii.
Imani will be glad that Nate stuck around since he was such a big help last night.
That’ll leave Lily curious about what happened, so Nate will explain that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) bailed on them.
Imani will gush over Nate’s compassion and how he helped her settle on a rehab center in Virginia that might be right for Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).
Although Imani will know it’ll be a struggle to get Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Naya and her dad to agree, she’ll think Nate has the right idea.
Lily will seem like she’s picking up on a bit of a vibe, so she’ll corner Imani for a private chat.
However, Lily will just want Imani to know that family comes first and will offer time off if she needs it.
Imani will act like she’s more than capable of handling the workload and will think this distance from Amanda has been good since there’s tension with her sister right now.
Later, Imani will get off the phone with Amanda and bump into Nate at Crimson Lights.
Once Imani admits that everyone approved the rehab facility, she’ll talk about how scared she is and cry in Nate’s arms.
At The Dive Bar, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) that she’s turning down their Marchetti offer for personal reasons.
After Chelsea explains why she’s taking this fashion sabbatical, Summer and Kyle will understand.
Chelsea will confess to already finding something else to keep her busy and smile at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as he appears.
Billy will catch up with Summer and Kyle, so Summer will be surprised over his mature attitude these days.
After Kyle gets a text from Michael, he’ll realize that Ashland is in the park with Harrison.
Michael will also note that the cops have been called, so Kyle and Summer will take off in a hurry.
Once Chelsea joins Billy at their podcast equipment, she’ll pitch the idea of discussing their pasts on the show.
Chelsea will think their listeners will eat up their intertwining con artist and gambler histories, but she’ll want to go deeper than the salaciousness and show how to grow.
It’ll take some work to get Billy on board, but he’ll ultimately understand Chelsea’s vision and seem excited.
Lily will call Billy to remind him about a meeting she said he’d take off her plate, so he’ll offer reassurance and hang up before she can tell him something else.
Chelsea will think she’d better let Billy get back to his COO job, but he won’t want to lose their momentum and will suggest co-hosting their first podcast together right now.
Back at the park, Ashland will happily talk to Harrison about his new toy until he sees Michael and Nikki arrive.
Diane will also reappear as Ashland discovers he’s been busted.
After Ashland hugs Harrison one more time, Diane will whisk her grandson away from the drama.
Ashland will start to leave, but Nikki and Michael will block him from one direction while Kyle and Summer approach in another.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going? And where’s my son?” Kyle will ask angrily.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the cops are indeed coming for Ashland, so stick with the CBS soap!
