The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be furious over Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sending Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) after Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will get dragged into her mom’s mess.
Phyllis recently hinted about taking more drastic measures against Diane, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) worried about contacting a hardened criminal.
Although Phyllis argued they wouldn’t be in danger, Nikki insisted they didn’t want Diane in physical danger either.
However, Phyllis feels like the threat alone will scare Diane off.
The problem is someone like Jeremy is unpredictable and could cause a dangerous situation that’s beyond Phyllis’ control.
Regardless, Phyllis will apparently create serious drama for herself by alerting Jeremy to Diane’s location.
It looks like Phyllis will be the reason Jeremy arrives at the Abbott house, so that’s obviously troubling since that’s where Kyle, Summer and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) live, too.
Phyllis could be inviting peril to the “Skyle” family, so this move should come back to bite her big time.
If Jeremy is as menacing as Diane claims, then the fallout of Phyllis’ move could be disastrous.
Phyllis may initially be pleased since Diane will pack up her stuff and prepare to leave Genoa City during the week of December 5-9. Jeremy will spook Diane enough to make her genuinely consider bailing on Kyle again.
Although it seems Diane will stick around in the end or at least return soon after leaving, Kyle’s going to be furious with Phyllis.
This could lead to problems in Kyle’s marriage as well, especially if we think about it from a long-term perspective.
Summer may side with Kyle at first and argue that Phyllis’ move was uncalled for, but she’s proven pretty forgiving of her mother’s blunders in the past.
What happens if Summer eventually wants to let Phyllis off the hook, but Kyle holds a grudge?
That’s the kind of thing that could cause a major rift in Kyle and Summer’s relationship.
No matter how this plays out, Phyllis will create a mess that leaves Summer stuck in the middle of it all.
It’s clear that Phyllis is crossing the line by putting Jeremy in the mix, so Kyle will unleash his wrath before long.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will fume over Phyllis’ actions once all this blows up, so stay tuned!
