The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 26, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will return to Genoa City while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) plots a shocking move. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also decide Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) fate, so let’s talk about all the drama that’s brewing.
First, Kyle will make it back with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) and look forward to some family fun.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has lured Kyle home under the guise of spending quality time together, but viewers know he has an ulterior motive.
Although Jack would prefer for Diane to just slither away, he realizes that’s not going to happen. Jack also understands that he’s the best person to reveal Diane is alive.
However, Kyle’s homecoming will get messy, so there may be some close calls regarding Diane.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) promised to keep Diane away, but containing a woman like her is easier said than done.
The good news is Diane will be rather preoccupied with another project.
The bad news is that could lead to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) feeling blindsided.
Diane will hope to make peace with Nikki, so she’ll work on a plan and get ready to put it in motion.
There’s a chance Diane will surprise Nikki with her return from the dead before anyone else can warn her.
Of course, we should point out that Phyllis will be watching Diane like a hawk.
Phyllis is set to catch Diane doing something she shouldn’t be doing soon, so it’s also possible she’ll force a change of plans.
Meanwhile, Kyle’s going to sense that something’s up. He may admit he already feared a family crisis and push Jack to just tell him what’s wrong.
Y&R spoilers point to Jack delivering a major shocker on the April 27 episode, but there might be a “your mother is alive” cliffhanger on Monday, April 26 – just to set up the chaos ahead!
Next, Victor will make a decision regarding Victoria.
Victor will change his mind about something, so could that mean reinstating Victoria as CEO since she’s been through enough?
On the other hand, it’s possible Victor will leave Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in power for a while and declare that it’s for Victoria’s own good.
Either way, Victoria has endured some serious trauma due to the car crash she was in.
That’ll no doubt leave Victor concerned and force him to wrestle with Victoria’s CEO fate.
