The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 14, teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be jealous over Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) bond. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also wreck Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) song, so here’s what Y&R viewers can expect.
At Newman Media, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will talk to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about how they were able to compartmentalize their feelings and focus on work.
However, Adam will end up shutting the door before Sally locks it.
After Adam and Sally start stripping down, they’ll get passionate on the office desk.
Moments later, Sally and Adam will finish making love on the nearby sofa.
Once Sally’s basking in the afterglow with Adam, she’ll admit that was intense.
Sally will suggest she waited a long time for that and still wasn’t prepared.
As Sally and Adam get dressed, Sally will wonder if things are going to be weird now.
Sally will ask if Adam thinks this was a mistake, but he’ll shut down that idea.
Adam will admit he thought about that moment for a long time as well – and what he imagined didn’t come close to reality!
Sally will wonder what happens next, but Adam won’t really know.
Adam will think they should play it as they go and will suggest getting back to work, but they’ll ultimately decide they could use some food first.
Next, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will show up to see Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in her hotel suite.
Chelsea will mention running into Rey when she couldn’t sleep and having a really nice conversation with him.
As for their upcoming pitch to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Chloe will offer a pep talk and encourage Chelsea to be optimistic.
They’ll eventually head to Society and talk more about their pitch preparations.
When Sally and Adam walk in, they’ll briefly discuss whether they should go somewhere else.
Adam and Sally will decide there’s no harm in a working lunch, so they’ll approach Chelsea and Chloe’s table.
In the conversation that follows, Chelsea will be surprised to learn Adam gave Sally the COO position.
Sally will contend that it’s great to be working with someone who recognizes and appreciates her skills.
“I bet he does,” Chelsea will reply with a phony smile.
Chelsea will act like it must be quite a challenge for Adam to train Sally on the job, but Adam will insist Sally is holding her own just fine.
Sally will note that she loves all the sparks and energy flying around the office.
Sally will add that if Chelsea and Chloe need fresh eyes to look over their pitch, she’s available and has recent experience.
Sally will then assure Chloe and Chelsea that they’ve got this.
Sally will think it’s lucky that Lauren is giving Chelsea another chance, so Chelsea will suggest it’s lucky that they didn’t tie Sally up with a contract.
Chelsea will point out that an amazing opportunity with Adam was just around the corner, so it’s almost like they did Sally a favor.
“You have no idea,” Sally will admit with a sly smile.
While Sally joins Adam at a table and declares this the best Valentine’s Day ever, Chelsea will ignore them and focus on the upcoming presentation.
Noah will also have lunch with Nick, so that’ll lead to Noah complaining about the romantic holiday. It’ll serve as a reminder that Noah is single this year, but Nick will act like Valentine’s Day is for suckers anyway.
After Noah makes plans to meet back up with Nick later, he’ll take off to run an errand.
Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will then approach Nick and admit he’s desperate for a Valentine’s Day gift idea.
Moses will want to show Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) how special she is, so Nick will think they can figure something out.
Once they settle on something offscreen, Moses will tell Nick that he’s pretty cool.
At Crimson Lights, Rey will be sorry he has to work late.
Rey will give Sharon updates on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) not reacting well to the stakeout, but he’ll decide it’s good that Chance tested the waters and knows he’s not ready.
Rey will go ahead and give Sharon her Valentine’s Day gifts, but she’ll promise that they’ll celebrate when he comes home – no matter how late it is.
At Tessa and Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) apartment, Tessa will reveal that she wrote a special song for Mariah.
It’ll be Mariah’s Valentine’s Gift, so Tessa will start singing it – only to be interrupted by a knock at the door.
Mariah will push Tessa to ignore it and keep going, but Tessa will warn that it might be Sharon.
After Mariah argues Sharon would know better than to interrupt them on Valentine’s Day, she’ll wonder who does that!
Mariah will open the door to find Noah, who’ll be there to deliver a belated housewarming gift.
Noah will guess it’s also a gift to celebrate their engagement and impending adoption now.
After Noah sees a romantic setup on the table nearby, he’ll realize he indeed interrupted a Valentine’s Day celebration.
Noah will want to take off, but Mariah and Tessa will urge him to stay until they open the gift.
Inside the box Noah offers will be some artwork he created based on Mariah and Tessa’s photograph.
They’ll find the perfect spot for Noah’s masterpiece and will offer plenty of gratitude. Mariah will give Noah a big hug and let him know this means so much to them.
Back with Sharon and Rey, they’ll try to calm Faith down during a freak-out.
Faith won’t know what to get Moses for Valentine’s Day, so Rey and Sharon will offer some suggestions.
Later, Sharon will advise against trying to think of the perfect gift.
Sharon will encourage Faith to focus on what makes Moses happy, so they’ll settle on a gift idea offscreen and embrace over the success.
Afterward, Moses and Faith will sit in a booth to exchange gifts.
They’ll realize they’ve both given each other tickets to the Salute to Coltrane concert.
Faith will recall how Moses used to listen to those albums with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
Moses will admit listening to those albums again with Faith was like hearing them for the first time, so it was a special experience for both of them.
Nick will meet up with Sharon nearby, so they’ll reflect on when they were teenagers.
Sharon will be surprised when Nick remembers the first gift she ever gave him, which was a friendship bracelet.
After they realize they had the same idea about Moses and Faith’s gifts, they’ll high-five before Nick puts his arm around Sharon.
Rey won’t look pleased as he spies Sharon and Nick’s close moment.
As for Noah, he’ll also do some moping after he sees Moses and Faith looking all lovey-dovey.
Back with Tessa, she’ll finish singing to Mariah in a heartfelt scene together.
Mariah will be moved to tears over the lyrics about Tessa choosing her every time and will plant a big kiss once the song’s over.
