The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 24 Update – Sally’s Chaotic New York Homecoming – Abby’s Separation Anxiety

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, January 24, teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have a chaotic New York homecoming while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) deals with some Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) separation anxiety.

At the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will remain on cloud nine over convincing Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to give him shared custody.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will believe Chance and Abby were genuine in their desire to work this out, but she’ll still feel a little uneasy.

As an attorney, Amanda just doesn’t feel comfortable until all the details are completely locked in.

However, Amanda will seem to relax a bit when Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) sends a text signaling approval on the custody amendments.

At the Chancellor mansion, Chance will push Abby to open up about how she’s feeling.

Despite knowing it was the right call, Abby will continue to struggle over handing Dominic over to Devon once per week.

Abby won’t want Dom to feel like they weren’t willing to fight for him.

Abby will also fear she won’t be strong enough to endure these days and nights without Dominic, but Chance will offer another pep talk to remind Abby this is a good thing.

Nevertheless, Chance will give Abby the opportunity to back out of their decision. He’ll note that they can call Christine and tell her they’ve changed their minds, but Abby will shut that idea down.

Although Abby will want to stick to the new plan, that won’t make it any easier to actually do it.

At Society, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will get Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) hyped up about relocating Newman Fashion.

Chloe will see the benefits as Chelsea explains they’re going to find the perfect space – that way, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have to approve the decision.

There’ll be tension when Sally comes back from New York and drags Adam out to grab some food at Society, where they’ll naturally cross paths with Chelsea and Chloe.

Sally will be upset over being left out of the loop on the relocation plans, but Chelsea will offer another reminder about being Sally’s boss.

Before things can escalate too much, Adam will sit Sally down at a table and scold her for getting under Chelsea’s skin.

Adam will want to hear about Sally’s trip, so she’ll get him laughing over an interview she did – all while Chelsea seethes nearby.

Adam will eventually open up to Sally about the issues he’s having with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who now wants to take a more active role in the company.

Adam won’t get why Victor is using the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) drama as an excuse to do this and will find the whole thing demoralizing.

Sally will be genuinely sorry about what Adam’s going through and will refuse to let him backpedal on confessing to her.

Sally will be glad Adam opened up, but he’ll seem a bit concerned about the possibility that she could spill.

Adam will make sure Sally knows how important it is to keep this news to herself.

When Sally asks about the relocation plans, Adam will end up divulging even more info about his personal life.

Adam will admit to provoking Chelsea’s desire to stay away from him by making it clear they had no future together.

Sally won’t be pleased about how this works out for her since she likes being able to pop in and see Adam throughout the day.

Adam will remind Sally that she answers to Chelsea and Chloe, though he’ll have high hopes about her having her own fashion line someday.

At the coffeehouse, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will act like Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) might be overreacting to Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) pining.

Rey will seem a little glum when Sharon mentions Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) agreeing with her.

Rey will act like he feels a bit on the outside of Nick, Sharon and their family, but Sharon will remind Rey of what an incredible stepdad he is.

Later, Chelsea and Chloe will pop in Crimson Lights after nailing down the perfect new office space.

That will lead to Chelsea sharing a nice moment with Rey, so Sharon will seem a little uncomfortable over Rey’s rapport with her.

Back Newman Media, Adam will end up approving Chloe and Chelsea’s new lease. He’ll act like not running into Chelsea constantly will be a good thing, so Chelsea will leave looking a bit distraught.

When Sally appears outside Adam’s office, she’ll face Chelsea’s wrath once again.

Sally will fume over not getting any respect, but Chelsea won’t know if she’ll ever be able to cut Sally a break. She’ll call Sally out for hogging all Adam’s time and will think they both know what Sally’s goal is.

Next, Chloe will corner Chelsea to complain about how many demands she’s catered to. Chloe will feel like Chelsea refuses to see what Sally brings to the table and will snap that Chelsea is on her own figuring this out.

Adam will make a similar speech to Sally since he’ll also want her to figure out this Chelsea conflict out on her own.

Sally will have concerns about Chelsea trying to get rid of her, but Adam will think Sally needs to play nice for the sake of her job.

Adam won’t have high hopes for Sally winning a war against Chelsea, but Sally will think Adam’s underestimating her capabilities.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Chelsea’s power struggle could come with some curveballs, so keep watching!
