The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 24 Recap – Tucker’s Hostile Takeover – Devon & Nate’s Brawl Averted

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, October 24, reveals that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will mull over a hostile takeover while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) nightclub brawl is averted.

In Tucker’s suite, he’ll tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) that they need a new plan of attack.

Audra will admit that the IPO had been the best plan – that is if convincing Devon to merge his shares with Tucker’s for a controlling majority wasn’t just a pipe dream.

Now Audra will suggest that Tucker’s only way in is to do something to undermine the company and force them to sell it in a hostile takeover situation.

Tucker will insist there are only two people who should be running Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) company – meaning him and Devon.

That’s why Tucker will expect Audra to figure out how to set things right.

At Chancellor-Winters, Devon will tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that Nate accused him of only wanting to be partners with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

Lily will wonder if there’s any truth to that, but Devon will suggest changing the subject.

Once Lily reveals that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) wants to find the other threat and move forward with the IPO, Devon will worry about leaving themselves vulnerable.

Talk will turn to Devon’s lingering Tucker suspicions, so he’ll ultimately call Tucker and ask to meet at The Glam Club for a drink.

Devon will let Lily know he’s going to see what information he can finesse out of Tucker.

After Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) makes a reservation with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), he’ll surprise Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) with flowers at Society.

Abby will be having a chaotic night, so she’ll be reluctant to let Chance steal her away from work.

However, Chance will have a stakeout the next night – and Abby will have a private party the night after that.

In the end, Abby will decide it’s important to have a well-rounded life, so she’ll vow to support Noah’s new club and go out with Chance tonight after all.

At the nightclub, Noah will try to play sympathetic bartender to Nate, who’ll admit he’d prefer a quiet drink alone.

Nate will hover over Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) contact info on his phone, but he’ll decide not to call.

Once Noah greets Abby and Chance, he’ll seem tense over the mention of Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), so that’ll raise suspicions for Abby.

Chance will just want to focus on his beautiful wife, so they’ll share some lovey-dovey moments.

Back with Noah, he’ll seem lost in thought for a moment.

Noah will think back to a fight he had with Audra when they were living in London, so Y&R fans will hear how nasty it got.

When Tucker shows up, Abby will fume and fret over the threat he poses to Dominic.

Chance will point out that Devon might’ve had a change of heart about him, so Abby will look over and see Devon hugging Tucker.

After Devon locks eyes with his cousin, Nate will head for the exit.

Devon will suggest Nate shouldn’t leave on his account, so they’ll have another argument about Neil and all their previous conflict.

Abby will spot the trouble and note that the cousins have come to blows before, so Chance will decide to go handle it.

Although Chance won’t know what’s going on here, he’ll warn Nate and Devon that it’s not the place for this.

Devon and Nate will agree they’re not worth any more of each other’s time, so Nate will take off.

Abby will try to blame Tucker when Chance rejoins her, but he’ll urge her to focus on their night out.

At Crimson Lights, Audra will notice Lily at a table, so she’ll join her and offer IPO advice.

When Audra says to trust no one, Lily will refuse to be skeptical of everybody since she still trusts Devon.

Nevertheless, Audra will talk about her ex betraying her by not dealing with unresolved feelings and blaming her for everything.

After Audra apologizes for oversharing, she’ll act like her point is that people can surprise you.

Audra will suggest that when money and power are involved, people’s true selves emerge – and when the masks come off, it’s not always pretty.

Lily will suggest people can surprise you in positive ways too and will wish Neil was here to fix this mess.

Since Lily will need to leave, Audra will offer one last piece of advice.

Out of all the IPOs that Audra has worked on, she’ll contend that very few companies regret taking that big step.

Audra will wonder why Lily should let the transgressions of one person with an ax to grind rob her of that glory.

After Lily departs, Nate will show up and assume Audra thinks he’s public enemy number one.

Audra will argue that she doesn’t take things personally and will appreciate Nate’s creativity.

Nate will see that Audra lives dangerously, so she’ll admit she’d like to hear his exciting story.

Of course, Nate will assume whatever he says will be spilled at Chancellor-Winters, so he’ll be reluctant to open up.

Even so, Nate will contend that Devon was so focused on family that it got in the way of business.

Audra will push Nate to elaborate, but he’ll think he got in this mess by sharing too much info with outsiders. Nate will suggest he’s trying to learn from his mistakes and will head out.

Back at the nightclub, Devon will take responsibility for things getting off track the last time he talked with Tucker.

That said, Devon will think his Tucker suspicions were reasonable since he showed up the same week a mole was discovered.

Tucker will acknowledge that people think the worst of him, but Devon will feel like Tucker approves of the mystique.

Since Devon will have Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) this weekend, he’ll invite Tucker over to meet him and get an enthusiastic response.

Devon will admit to Tucker that Nate was the one who sold out the company, so he’ll struggle to understand how family could do something so malicious and unforgivable.

Tucker will seem intrigued as Devon talks about his connection to Neil and how Nate felt it would lead to a downfall. According to Nate, no one could ever measure up to Neil’s legacy.

If there’s any truth to Nate’s accusations, Tucker will urge Devon to deal with those issues before they take down Chancellor-Winters.
