The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) bio dad bomb could drop. Will it be revealed that Stitch wanted to replace his lost baby with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway)?
Y&R fans will recall how Stitch was hanging around the Chancellor property without anyone realizing it.
Stitch spied on Abby as well as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) before putting his kidnapping plot in motion.
Stitch was desperate to make himself the hero after everything that went down with Abby’s miscarriage.
Stitch felt responsible for not protecting Abby and never got over that deep loss.
Stitch struggled alone following his breakup with Abby, so the abduction fiasco was Stitch’s way of trying to feel hopeful again.
However, there’s a chance Stitch left out a huge part of the story. Stitch talked about doing “unforgivable things,” but maybe there’s one more thing he did.
Since Stitch was so hung up on Abby’s miscarriage, perhaps he actually snuck into Genoa City far sooner.
Stitch was able to steal a doctor’s badge and break Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) out of his facility later, so maybe he used a similar strategy to break in the lab for a sperm switcheroo.
We know Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will get news that shatters his heart during the week of February 14-18.
Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) health crisis could lead to the truth coming out and expose someone else as his biological father.
That someone could easily be Stitch based on his previous obsession with Abby’s lost child and pregnant Mariah.
Maybe Stitch chose not to reveal the sperm swap after his plan ultimately unraveled.
Of course, it’s interesting that Y&R let Stitch vanish with Max instead of arresting him. Since Stitch was going to be off canvas anyway, why not just throw him in prison?
Perhaps there was a deeper reason why the show wanted Stitch and Max to be out there somewhere.
This could tie in with Dominic’s potential need for a bone marrow match and leave Abby desperate to track them down.
Regardless, Dominic’s biological father will have to be revealed if Devon isn’t the true dad as expected.
