The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will sacrifice her Milan life for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as the couple makes their official move back to Genoa City.
During the week of May 16-20, Kyle will do some contemplating.
After sticking around GC for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding, Kyle may start to feel like he’s home again.
Although Kyle has come to enjoy living in Milan, he made a sacrifice when he uprooted his own life and moved away from the people he cared about for the woman he loved.
Summer and Kyle then built a life with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) that was centered around Summer’s job at Marchetti.
However, it’ll soon be Summer’s turn to make a big sacrifice for Kyle.
Summer will get updates on everything that’s gone down in her absence and understand why Kyle wants to give Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a chance, even if she’s skeptical.
Deep down, Y&R spoilers say Summer will also miss Genoa City, so she may admit to Kyle that she’s been homesick and wouldn’t be opposed to making the move back there.
That could mean Summer has to walk away from this dream Marchetti gig she loves so much, but that may be something she’s willing to do – mostly for Kyle’s sake but also for Harrison’s and her own.
This will be an opportunity for all of them to be closer to friends and family members back in GC.
The move back home will affect Kyle the most since it’ll give him more of a shot at bonding with Diane.
Slowly but surely, Diane will get Kyle to drop the walls he’s put up with her.
Kyle and Diane will start to form a real mother-son relationship, but that’ll inevitably make Summer nervous.
Although Summer will want Kyle to have this connection again if Diane has truly changed, she’ll have doubts about whether that’s possible – especially since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be trashing Diane nonstop.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will mull over his Genoa City future and perhaps make a pitch to Summer, so it won’t be long until their move to GC becomes official.
