The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, December 1 Recap – Summer Blasts Kyle – Phyllis Exposes Diane to Jeremy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 1, teases that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will blast Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) over a secret he’s been keeping while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) exposes Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will fish for more info on Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) earlier conversation with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

It’ll annoy Lily when Billy insists on calling Chelsea again, but he’ll worry something could be wrong.

At home, Chelsea will ignore Billy’s next call and get distracted by some Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) drama.

Connor will admit he got into a fight with a bully at school who called Chelsea crazy, but Chelsea will warn against violence and insist he doesn’t have to defend her.

On the Crimson Lights patio, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will urge Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) not to make this a competition with Billy.

Adam will act like Billy wants to keep Chelsea dependent on him, so Sharon will think it almost sounds like Adam is jealous.

However, Adam will deny that and decide to go speak with Chelsea himself.

That’ll lead to Adam getting updates on the bully situation, so he’ll want to pull Connor out of that school or get the mean kid expelled.

Chelsea won’t think it’s realistic to shield Connor from everything, so she’ll think they need to focus on developing his confidence and helping him learn not to use his fists.

In the end, Adam will apologize for his knee-jerk reaction and hug Chelsea, but she’ll pull away quickly and vow to make Connor a snack.

Back at Society, Lily will join Summer, Phyllis and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) at a table.

Billy will eventually appear after leaving a voicemail for Chelsea, so that’ll give him a chance to hear about Daniel’s business pitch.

When Billy points out Lily didn’t mention it before now, she’ll note that he’s been busy with other things.

Billy will be curious about Daniel’s project, but he’ll keep things vague along with Lily for now.

In a moment alone with Billy, Daniel will talk about how he hasn’t changed a bit.

Billy will think that sounds like an insult, so Daniel will admit he’s talking about Billy leaving Chancellor-Winters while they’re dealing with a big transition.

Daniel will suggest it’s a pattern for Billy and will be surprised Lily ended up in a serious relationship with him after the whole mess with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard).

Although Daniel would’ve expected Lily to fall for someone more reliable, he’ll guess that old habits die hard.

At the Abbott house, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) about Phyllis’ suggestion to contact Jeremy and plant the idea that Diane plotted to have him arrested.

Ashley will grow concerned about the danger, but Nikki won’t think Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would let it spiral into anything terrible.

Even so, Ashley will worry about what might happen if they push too far and unleash violence.

Soon after, Phyllis will show up and gloat about how she’s already spoken to Jeremy anonymously.

As Phyllis grins in satisfaction, she’ll insist she told Jeremy that Diane made a deal with the feds that ultimately landed him in prison.

At Jabot, Kyle will spot Diane hugging Jack in gratitude for his protection, so he’ll wonder if he’s interrupting something.

Diane will then tell Kyle about refusing to supply financial info to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), who wants to take over Jabot.

That led to Tucker giving Ashley the dirty Jeremy details, so Diane will insist she’s genuinely worried about the risk to her as well as Kyle and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Diane won’t think she’s being paranoid since Jeremy is an abusive monster.

Kyle will get riled up over Ashley, Phyllis and Nikki escalating things to this level.

Although Kyle will hope Jack’s right about it being a bluff, he’ll want to let everyone know this isn’t a “damn game.”

Both Kyle and Jack will vow to protect Diane on Thursday’s Y&R episode, so she’ll be incredibly grateful.

Once Kyle leaves Jack’s office, Diane will ask if she can take Jack to lunch to thank him. Jack will smile and suggest dinner instead.

When Kyle finds Summer, he’ll reveal that the attacks on Diane have escalated to the point of being dangerous.

Kyle will note that Phyllis threatened Diane and could be putting a target on her back.

Summer will realize Diane really did help put Jeremy in prison, so Kyle will admit he was sworn to secrecy for safety’s sake along with Jack.

That’ll infuriate Summer, who’ll think she should’ve been told immediately since it’s her family, too.

Kyle will acknowledge that Summer is right, but he’ll want her to focus on the danger that he’s warning her about.

Phyllis will be at the center of this out-of-control war along with Nikki and Ashley, but Kyle will contend that it has to stop now.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Jeremy have an unsettling showdown ahead, so stay tuned.
