The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, November 3, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get a second chance with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) calls out Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) bond.
For starters, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will grow even closer to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) as they confide in each other. It’s clear that a dangerous connection could be forming, especially since things aren’t great with Abby and Devon’s respective partners.
Abby definitely feels the strain with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) – and Devon is struggling in his long-distance romance with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), too. That’ll give Devon and Abby a reason to lean on each other as they open up.
Other Y&R spoilers say Nate will get a big surprise when Elena shows up on his doorstep. Elena will be back from Baltimore with some big news. It turns out Elena decided not to take the job, so she’ll admit she’s willing to try again with Nate.
Of course, Elena won’t be able to make any promises, but even this glimmer of hope will please Nate. However, there’ll be some other bumps in the road due to Nate’s new job at Newman Media and the latest round of Devon drama.
Elena and Nate will have their work cut out for them if they hope to build a lasting relationship. Billy and Lily will face relationship issues of their own – and they’ll center around his deep Chelsea bond.
So far, Billy has only alluded to an incident with Chelsea, so Lily doesn’t realize she tried to commit suicide. If Billy updates Lily on that part of the story, she’ll no doubt have sympathy for Chelsea and her state of mind.
At the same time, Lily will see that Billy has such a strong pull to Chelsea, so that’ll leave her concerned. Since Billy is shutting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out, Lily may accuse Billy of wanting to be the one who played knight in shining armor.
Whatever the case, Lily and Billy will face off over Chelsea, so they’ll disagree about just how involved he should be. Although Lily may praise Billy for stepping up when Chelsea needed him, she may think the professionals should take it from here.
Billy, on the other hand, may argue that he can’t abandon Chelsea now. We’ll see Billy continue to strengthen his bond with Chelsea during November sweeps, so Lily will feel cast aside in some ways.
