The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 19, teases that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get a tempting offer while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) vows revenge. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also be ruthless to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as he works to sell a painful lie, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Genoa City.
At Crimson Lights, Y&R spoilers say an intriguing alliance will come together.
Phyllis will be determined to get vengeance since Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has blown up her life – though Phyllis did a little of that herself!
Nevertheless, Phyllis won’t rest until Diane pays for her actions and leaves GC behind.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) also thinks that’s the only acceptable path for Diane, so she’ll remain on Phyllis’ team and will hope for one more vengeful ally.
Ashley hates Diane with a passion and doesn’t think she can be trusted at all.
Since Ashley is a fierce enemy of Diane’s and wants her out of town, she’s got all the necessary qualifications for the Diane takedown team.
It looks like Ashley will jump at the chance to join forces with Phyllis and Nikki if it means getting rid of Diane faster.
A brainstorming session is on the way, but it won’t be long until conflict breaks out between Ashley and Phyllis.
Since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) can’t condone anything that might hinder Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) shot at reconnecting with his mom, he’ll also have some issues with Ashley’s new alliance.
The alliance between Phyllis, Nikki and, Ashley in essence betrays both Kyle and Jack by targeting Diane for ruin.
Next, Sally will call Adam’s bluff when he tries to break up with her.
This just won’t make any sense to Sally at all, especially when Adam starts ranting about Sally costing him Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) respect.
Adam will sink to some cruel levels as he acts like Sally is robbing him of the life he truly wants.
Sally will feel the sting of Adam’s words, but it’ll eventually click that he’s just dumping her to save her job.
After Sally has that realization, she’ll push Adam to come clean and hope they can figure out another solution.
However, Adam will have to choose whether he’ll confess the real reason for this sham breakup or continue to sell it.
