The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 20, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get some alarming news while Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) scheme takes shape. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also offer a warning, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
For starters, it looks like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will stick to the plan. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have been warned about the zero-tolerance policy before, but they’re about to get another reminder.
However, Summer and Kyle intend to take things a step further since this cycle of feuding still hasn’t been broken. At this point, it no longer matters who did what. If any trickery happens from now on, both Diane and Phyllis will be shown the exit door at Marchetti.
Jack is developing more of a connection to Diane these days, so it seems he’ll deliver his own warning in private. Although Jack may acknowledge this ultimatum seems harsh, he’ll feel like it’ll work out if everyone will just play nice.
Jack will challenge Diane to do what she set out to do and concentrate on rebuilding her bond with Kyle. If Diane keeps that as her focus, Jack will feel confident that she’s going to be fine.
Over with Victoria, it looks like she’ll have some troubling updates for Nick. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) came to Victoria with a bold proposal, so he’s willing to be her inside man and help her become a majority shareholder at Chancellor-Winters.
Nick suggested creating a position to get Nate in the door anyway, so he should have no problem giving Nate a job. The issue here is that Victoria will be playing with fire if she agrees to such a risky arrangement.
Alarm bells may go off for Nick since he usually prefers less shady methods. Nick may think they’re begging for trouble and could launch a major battle with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Since Victoria co-parents with Billy, Nick may question how blindsiding him like this will affect their personal relationship. Although Nick can’t shut Victoria down, he may urge her to think long and hard before she moves forward with this deal.
However, Victoria will spell out her business strategy and have total faith in it. Since it appears Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will soon get on board, Nick may be outnumbered if he disagrees.
