The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could threaten to fire Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for leaking confidential info. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may have to defend his COO’s mistake and fight to keep Sally around.
Victor’s priority right now is obviously helping Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) accept the truth about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), so everything else has to take a backseat.
However, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) found out that Victor had people actively searching for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) – tipping her off to the fact that Victor wasn’t honest.
After Lauren confronted Victor with the info in the March 22 episode, he demanded to know how she found out.
Although Lauren wouldn’t reveal her source, Victor clearly wasn’t happy about the leak.
It probably won’t be long until Victor realizes Sally’s loose lips were the problem.
Victor will have yet another reason to distrust Sally and may argue that he has grounds to force her out of Newman-Media.
Y&R fans know Victor values loyalty above all else – and this will feel like an act of disloyalty to him.
Of course, Adam can step up and insist that it was an honest mistake.
Sally may admit to accidentally spilling the news about Victor’s Michael search, but she was just trying to put out a fire and calm Lauren down.
It’s not like Sally was trying to betray the Newmans or cause problems.
Even so, Victor may toss some threats around and act like he should fire Sally over this.
Victor would certainly have the authority to go above Adam’s head and do that.
Nevertheless, Adam may win this battle in the end.
Adam might contend that Victor is being unreasonable, especially since we know everything’s going to work out with Michael.
Once Michael is back home safe and sound, Adam may see no need to hold grudges over anything that happened.
Adam may stick up for Sally and save her job following Victor’s outrage.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s blunder is sure to cause issues soon, but let’s hope Adam can smooth things over with Victor.
