The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could face some bedroom temptation. Will familiar comfort bring flying sparks on Y&R?
Victoria knows she has a habit of falling for flawed, complicated men – and that includes Billy.
However, Billy has tried to grow as a person in recent years. Although Billy may never fully escape his old screw-up ways, he’s matured enough that Victoria can trust and count on him.
Victoria certainly knows Billy would never threaten to kill her like Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) did in her own home.
Ashland became a dangerous monster in the end, so Billy will want to check on Victoria in the aftermath of their final faceoff.
Of course, Victoria already feels guilty for ignoring all the early warning signs regarding Ashland and refusing to listen to the naysayers.
We may see Victoria beat herself up in front of Billy, but he’d never say “I told you so” or make her feel any worse than she already does.
Instead, Billy will offer comfort after Victoria confides in him during the week of August 1-5.
This should bring some tender “Villy” moments and could mark the start of a romantic reconnection if that’s where the story’s headed.
Victoria might even find out Billy convinced Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to go check on her that fateful night.
If Billy hadn’t pushed Nick so hard, he might never have stopped by Victoria’s place and came to her rescue.
Victoria could be dead right now if it weren’t for Billy’s instincts, so she may offer her gratitude.
Billy came through when it counted by knowing Victoria needed backup.
Naturally, this is a time when Victoria will be feeling especially vulnerable and drawn to what’s familiar.
Billy’s comfort may feel like exactly what Victoria needs – and that could set the stage for some trouble.
Although Billy is committed to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), he’s surrendered to cheating temptation in other relationships before.
There’s always going to be a pull between Billy and Victoria, which means there’s a chance for a bedroom betrayal, too.
