The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, May 18 Recap – Phyllis Kisses Jack – Nick’s Paris Surprise – Summer Warns Kyle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 18, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will kiss Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) offers a Paris surprise. Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will also warn Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.

At Top of the Tower, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will turn down Nick’s offer to dance and send him to dance with Summer instead.

After Kyle asks to borrow Summer, he’ll admit Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is there and wants to say hello.

Meanwhile, Jack will ask Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) to dance and try to make sure she’s having a good time at the wedding afterparty.

Once Diane greets Summer nearby, she’ll praise her career and talk about how happy Summer makes Kyle.

Diane will want the chance to get to know Summer as well and will promise not to be the typical annoying mother-in-law.

Summer won’t think anything about this is typical and will struggle to wrap her head around the pain Diane caused.

That said, Summer will vow to follow Kyle’s lead and put his feelings first.

Diane will agree that what she did was horrible and will insist she’s working hard for forgiveness.

After Phyllis spots Diane with Summer and Kyle, she’ll prepare to intervene.

Jack will worry about Phyllis making a scene, but she’ll argue that she’s going to stop one from happening instead.

Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll mingle with some of their guests and reflect on the wedding going off without a hitch.

Once Sharon shares some heartfelt words about Mariah and Tessa’s love, Tessa will call her “Mom” and get a laugh out of Sharon since it feels right.

As for Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), he’ll find Allie alone and apologize for his corny jokes at Crimson Lights earlier.

Allie will get Noah talking about his art before the conversation shifts to Allie’s view of Genoa City, which she’ll find quite different from Los Angeles.

Allie will suggest she likes to think of things just being how they are – not being better or worse.

When Noah suggests Allie’s mind is more analytical than artistic, she’ll act offended.

Noah will be apologetic, but Allie will admit she’s just joking as they laugh together.

That’ll lead to some other bad jokes and leave Jack feeling like he’s missing something when he walks over.

Once Jack whisks Allie off to meet more people, Noah will look intrigued by the new woman who’s walked into his life.

However, Noah will let Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder) drag him back on the dance floor with a bottle of Champagne in her hand.

Next, Phyllis will interrupt Diane’s conversation with Summer and Kyle to insist it’s time for Diane to go.

Diane will bicker with Phyllis before acting like she was wrapping things up anyway.

While Kyle is walking Diane out, Phyllis will voice her concerns about “that bitch” worming her way into their lives – and Summer will be just as worried about the damage Diane could do.

Summer will also chat with Noah about Diane and how shaken up Kyle seems.

Once Summer reconvenes with Kyle, she’ll admit she doesn’t think Diane can be trusted for one second.

After Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) spots Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) sharing a kiss with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), she’ll tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that his little brother seems head over heels.

Devon will think maybe he should warn Moses about college and how feelings can change, but Amanda will suggest those warnings may go in one ear and out the other.

After Sharon decides she’s ready to call it a night, Nick will offer to take her home. Mariah and Tessa will mention their upcoming cabin honeymoon, but they’ll downplay it and act like they’ll plan a better one later.

Nick will reveal that Tessa and Mariah’s better honeymoon is happening tomorrow, so they’ll be floored over a surprise trip to Paris.

Although Mariah and Tessa will be wary of leaving Sharon right now, Sharon will insist it was her idea since Nick needed a wedding gift suggestion.

Once Sharon and Nick head out, Tessa and Mariah will thank everyone for coming as they get ready to leave as well.

Faith will point out that they still need to do the bouquet toss, so they’ll throw it together before it lands in Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) hands.

Chloe will toss it again before it ends up with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), who’ll throw it once more before it lands with Jack.

Although Jack will think he’s been married more than anyone in the room, he’ll decide maybe next time’s the charm.

At the cottage, Nick will stick around for Sharon and make her some tea.

Sharon will thank Nick for being there for her these last few weeks and won’t know if she could’ve made it otherwise.

Nick will hope Sharon knows she can always count on him.

Once Mariah and Tessa make it home to a romantic setup, they’ll marvel over being married.

When Tessa asks what’s next, Mariah will insist the sky’s the limit starting now and will kiss her new wife passionately.

Back with Phyllis, she’ll show up at Diane’s suite to blast her for stalking Kyle and argue that no one wants her around.

Phyllis will hope that in time, Summer will help Kyle see that it was a mistake to let his mom back in.

“You are a cancer! You are a cancer here! I want you out! I want you gone!” Phyllis will shout.

Diane will acknowledge that Phyllis can order her out of her hotel, but Phyllis can’t send her out of town.

After Diane notes that Kyle and maybe even Jack are both capable of forgiving her, Phyllis will think she’s delusional.

After Phyllis arrives at the Abbott house with updates on her efforts to drive Diane away, Jack won’t think that’s wise. As much as Jack hates the idea, he’ll feel like Kyle needs closure and more time with his mother.

Phyllis will apologize, but Jack won’t think there’s any need for that.

They’ll joke around about Phyllis being Jack’s date before talk turns to the bouquet he caught.

Although Jack will feel like maybe he’s walked down the aisle for the last time, Phyllis won’t be so sure.

After Phyllis kisses Jack, they’ll exchange smiles – though Jack will definitely be caught off guard.

As for Diane, she’ll sulk in her room with a drink as she thinks back to Jack and Phyllis dancing at the wedding together.

Diane will seem jealous over the fun “Phack” moment, so more trouble’s brewing!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane has a few more tricks up her sleeve, so stay tuned to see if that means bad news for Phyllis and Jack.
