The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 21, tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will struggle to contain her fury while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) plays a dangerous game. Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) angry ambush will also catch Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) off guard, so some big moments are ahead on Y&R.
For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take advantage of an opportunity, which means he’ll hope to get under Diane’s skin.
Diane will try to stay calm, but her fury will definitely be bubbling up under the surface.
While Victor works to get a reaction out of Diane, Nikki will speak with Deacon in Los Angeles.
Following Nikki’s mysterious message, Deacon will get ambushed in her Beverly Hills hotel room.
Although Deacon will attempt to flatter Nikki, she won’t be interested in flirting or anything beyond what she came for – which is dirt on Diane.
Deacon will realize Nikki is out for revenge, but she’ll promise there’ll be no payback for him if he cooperates.
Nikki will count on Deacon to supply incriminating info and help destroy Diane.
The sooner Nikki can drive Diane out of Genoa City, the better as far as she’s concerned.
Over with Nate, he’ll take a gamble and presumably strike an official deal with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Nate’s willing to serve as an inside man, so Victoria will be willing to grant him the CEO spot of Chancellor-Winters if she gets the controlling shares she needs.
However, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will remain incredibly concerned about the hole Nate is digging for himself.
There may be no coming back from a betrayal like this, so Elena will feel like Nate could blow up his family permanently.
Victoria could run into some trouble of her own, especially since she just went on a massive spending spree.
Now Victoria intends to sink more money into going after Chancellor-Winters, so this could backfire spectacularly if things don’t go exactly the way she wants.
