The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of August 15 – Lily’s Major Crisis – Diane’s Vow to Jack – Victor Tries to Stop Chance

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 15-19 tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will face a major crisis while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) makes a vow to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also have a plan to stop Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), so let’s talk about what’s ahead.

For starters, Lily will have her hands full at Chancellor-Winters, so she’ll try to take charge of a tricky situation.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will no doubt take Imani Benedict’s (Leigh-Ann Rose) terrible advice and do something bold to get Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) attention.

That move is bound to backfire and rile Devon up even more than before. Once Devon and Nate are ripping into each other, Lily will find herself stuck in the middle of some family drama.

Although Lily will try to play peacemaker during this crisis, her efforts may be futile at this point.

Victor will also remain in crisis mode due to the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) investigation, so he’ll need a strategy to handle Chance.

Since Chance won’t give up his fight to expose the truth, Victor will find some way to test Chance’s resolve.

We’ll see Chance face Victor’s challenge, so his father-in-law may resort to some mind games.

Victor may paint the picture of how horrible the outcome could be for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).

Does Chance really want to send Grandpa Victor to prison and have to explain that to Dominic one day?

That’s the reality if Chance digs too deep, but he’s a boy scout of a detective and will struggle to ignore the real story.

Speaking of the real story, that’s exactly what Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) will want to uncover when this investigative reporter makes her debut.

Talia will first appear on August 17 – and it actually looks like she’ll want Ashland answers early on.

Y&R spoilers hint that Nikki will intervene and steer Talia toward a Diane-related exposé instead of one on Ashland.

That news should please Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as Diane’s takedown moves forward.

Speaking of Diane, she’ll try to make more progress with Jack through a promise.

Diane may swear off Phyllis feuding and vow to focus on doing the best job she can possibly do at Marchetti.

Of course, Diane might also make a more personal vow.

We’ve already heard Diane promise not to let Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) down, but she may reiterate that promise and insist she knows how much is at stake.

Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will no doubt remain concerned about Diane and Phyllis working for the same company, but she’ll hope to contain any chaos that erupts.

The same goes for Kyle, who’ll try to be optimistic despite the odds not being in their favor.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Phyllis’ war will come with some interesting twists and turns, so stay tuned!
