The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of August 15 Update – Diane & Jack Kiss – Disloyal Billy – Victoria’s Bombshell

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of August 15-19 teases that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) “Taylor Jensen” secrets could still come back to haunt while disloyal Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) becomes an issue for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also face a bombshell, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get some bad news about Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) mounting evidence.

That’ll lead to Victor’s ultimatum for the Newmans and some revelations regarding the next phase of his cover-up.

Later, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will wow Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with the work she’s doing at Newman Media – and he’ll especially like the fact that she’s not making things more difficult for his family.

We’ll see Sally stand by her decision not to rush into a scandalous story, so Nick will remain grateful.

Of course, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will keep working toward the truth and will have to consider whether he’s willing to confess the breakup truth for Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) intel.

Sally doesn’t really intend to come through with her side of the quid pro quo – at least based on what she told Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

However, it won’t really matter since Adam will have a few tricks up his sleeve and will find other ways to score information.

Back with Nick, his guilt will worsen and leave him longing to confess the cover-up.

Nick will feel like coming clean may be the only way to end this mess, but Victor may shut down his son’s plan.

Chance’s investigation will continue, so that’ll bring some friction with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).

Although Abby previously supported Chance’s decision to uncover what really happened, she may second-guess that decision after a new discovery.

Abby may finally envision the reality of Victor potentially landing behind bars over this.

Even Nick and Victoria could land in hot legal water, so Abby won’t like how far Chance is taking this.

In the meantime, Victoria will get an unsettling visit from Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who’ll want to tell Johnny Abbott (last played by Holden and Ryan Hare) that she’s his biological mother.

Chelsea will want Johnny to find out Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is his half-brother as well, but Victoria will pump the brakes.

The resulting tension will convince Chelsea to delay this discussion – though perhaps not for long!

Once Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) signs the paperwork, she’ll officially start her new job at Marchetti.

That’ll put Phyllis in the prime position to begin Diane’s takedown from the inside.

Nevertheless, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do her part on the outside by recruiting Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) to do an exposé on Diane’s resurrection.

This investigative reporter will want to learn more about Diane’s time as “Taylor Jensen” in Los Angeles, so there’ll be some secrets to uncover if she digs deep enough.

Even so, this won’t be a simple mission since someone will soon get in Talia’s way!

After Lily plays referee for Nate Hastings (Sean Kanan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), she’ll have an argument of her own with Billy.

It may seem like Billy is dodging his COO responsibilities to work on his podcasts more often.

Billy assured Lily that he was committed to being her right-hand man, but she’ll question if that’s still true.

It’ll feel like Billy’s becoming a bit disloyal to his main job, but he may act like Lily’s got it all wrong and clash with her.

Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), they’ll have a wonderful evening together.

Love will be in the air on this romantic night, but there’ll be a twist by the end of it.

That could involve a pleasant surprise like Summer’s pregnancy confession, but it could also be something related to Diane.

It’s possible Summer and Kyle will cross paths with Diane while sparks are flying with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Regardless, Diane will let herself dream of a new beginning with Jack.

That could mean Diane will literally drift off to sleep and dream of a perfect life with Jack by her side.

A daydream would also work, but the point is Diane will fully believe a future with Jack is an option.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week of August 15-19 could bring Jack and Diane closer, so stay tuned.
