The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of February 28-March 4 teases that some of Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) memory boxes could be important while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) enrages Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also resort to a backup plan, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
After Jack fills Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in on the Keemo drama during a family meeting, Billy will console his brother.
Billy will even offer to team up on the search for answers in Los Angeles, but Jack will want to fly solo on this.
Since Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is genuinely concerned for Jack’s safety, she won’t like the idea of him ending up in a ditch somewhere alone!
Jack will eventually cave on letting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) be part of his mission, so they’ll take the Jabot jet to LA.
At some point, Jack will end up feeling rather sorry for himself and may have second thoughts about pursuing this.
However, Phyllis will be there to dish out a little tough love and make sure Jack stays focused on getting the answers he needs.
Phyllis may argue it’s the only way to closure, but this storyline will actually become something much bigger.
Once Jack makes it to Keemo’s house – which was the address given to him via text – he’ll ultimately be granted access.
It looks like there’ll be a world of memories waiting for Jack inside.
Jack will sit down with Phyllis and dig through some boxes, which will no doubt contain old photos and keepsakes.
Although Jack may be saddened to see the life he wasn’t part of, it might also help him see that Keemo was happy.
That might have to be enough when it comes to making peace with Keemo’s death.
Of course, Jack might also find a picture of Keemo’s daughter and realize he has a chance to connect in a different way.
Kelsey Wang will first appear as Allie on March 11, so Y&R will need to lay the groundwork for her imminent arrival.
Back in Genoa City, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will keep his promise to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) by going to his first therapy session.
Chance will open up to Dr. Huffman (Jeremiah Jahi) and get some advice, but there won’t be a quick fix for his trauma.
Chance will need to put in the work to really process what he went through and find his own path to recovery.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make a move that he feels is in the best interest of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware), so there could be issues if that involves a unilateral decision that Abby and Chance aren’t part of.
While Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) make an announcement that presumably relates to their looming nuptials, Victor will deliver a threat to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Ashland will refuse to quietly leave Genoa City in shame like Victor demands and will try to outsmart Victor instead.
That means pretending to have a heart attack and getting Victoria all riled up against her dad.
Since Victor will rope Adam and possibly Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) into his plot, Victoria will have plenty of anger to spread around.
Victoria will have a showdown with Adam and may threaten to fire him, but Adam will know he has to stick to Victor’s plan.
That plan will change as a result of Ashland’s actions. Victor will have to resort to more drastic and perhaps ruthless measures to get Ashland out of the picture.
As Victoria feels like she’s losing control of her life, she’ll make some risky moves of her own.
The Newman family will be tested like never before, so don’t miss all the action!
