The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 11-15 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will take a sinister turn while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) suspects Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also make a power play, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Genoa City.
For starters, Imani will move forward with the trap she already set in motion.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) thinks Imani made dinner reservations for three, but she lied about getting in touch with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to join them.
Imani would much rather spend the evening alone with Nate, so she’ll apparently make it look like Sally bailed on their dinner meeting.
That’ll give Imani a chance to pull Nate closer and get to know him a bit better.
Nate will fall right into Imani’s trap and apparently won’t suspect a thing.
Lily, on the other hand, will become quite suspicious of Imani and her agenda. At least Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have Lily to keep an eye on the situation while she’s on her trip.
Of course, that may not be enough to stop someone as sneaky as Imani from making progress.
Nate has proven he’s weak when it comes to cheating temptation, so his relationship with Elena could be at risk.
Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll carry out a vengeful plan against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and irritate Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in the process.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also try a new Diane tactic, which could involve joining forces with Nikki since we know they’ll indeed form an alliance soon.
Speaking of alliances, Adam will have to decide whether he’s willing to team up with Ashland on a revenge scheme.
It all boils down to whether Adam wants to be loyal to a family that’s been disloyal to him!
Victor will think he’s neutralized Ashland and will find that cause for celebration soon enough.
After delivering a difficult mission, Victor will make a power play and assume he’s done with his Ashland problem for good.
Unfortunately, that may not be the case if Adam goes behind Victor’s back on a new scheme.
Adam will revert back to his days of risky decision-making and sinister behavior, so trouble could be brewing!
Victor will mull over a Newman reboot, but something tells us Adam will still get snubbed.
That could enrage Adam even further and make him wonder if it’s time to teach Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as well as Victor a lesson.
Regardless, Y&R spoilers say Adam will sacrifice to ensure Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) happiness, so he’ll presumably leave her in power as Newman Media’s CEO.
However, anything Adam might be cooking up against the Newman clan could blow back on Sally if he’s not careful.
This is definitely a situation where Adam will have to really think things through.
Next, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will rise to a new challenge, so it sounds like she’ll move full-speed ahead with the Marchetti designer job.
Despite some of the naysayers she’s faced, Chelsea will believe this is a great opportunity.
