The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of September 12-16 teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will arrive as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) sizzle. A Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) bomb will also drop on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so let’s talk about the shockers ahead.
First, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will spread the word about her plan to fly to Los Angeles.
Victoria will get updates on Nikki’s desire to meet with Deacon since he’s the one person who might be able to provide juicy Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) dirt.
Of course, Victoria might have some big problems with this plan.
For starters, Deacon was an awful husband to Nikki once upon a time, so Victoria may worry about inviting more trouble into their lives.
The timing could also be an issue since Victoria is in the middle of so many major acquisitions.
Victoria may not approve of her co-CEO running off to LA while they’re trying to make power plays.
There are some hints about Deacon coming to Genoa City first, so Nikki might end up summoning him instead.
It’d be easy to do with a good dose of deception or blackmail!
However, we know Nikki will indeed land in LA eventually since she’ll be part of a Bold and the Beautiful crossover along with Deacon.
There’ll be some big developments later in September, so it’ll be interesting to hear what Deacon has to say.
In the meantime, Sally and Nick will mix business with pleasure. After Nick goes to bat for Sally and convinces Victoria not to fire her, things will take a steamy turn.
Sally will shake Nick’s hand before they wind up kissing and stripping down. Nick will hook up with Sally on the sofa in her office – just in time for Adam to arrive right outside the door.
Will Adam see the lovers in action? Could it be a fake-out where Adam walks away without entering instead?
It’s possible Adam will knock and call out to Sally, who may send him away without letting him in. It’s also possible Adam will sneak a peek of Sally with Nick and slink off undetected.
Regardless, Adam will pick up on a growing connection between Nick and Sally soon, but there are no signs of a heated confrontation in Y&R spoilers just yet.
The show may want to do a little buildup before Adam and Nick’s brother war reignites!
