The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of September 5 Update – Jill Forces Lily’s Choice – Victoria’s Offer – Adam’s Reversal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of September 5-9 teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will react to an offer while Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) forces Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) choice. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) reversal will also come into play, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

For starters, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will know she needs to stop the damage from getting any worse, so she’ll get her covert ally to kill the other stories in Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) series.

Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make more plans for his vow renewal and wedding reception in Genoa City.

It’ll be tough to keep suspicious Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) in the dark, but Kyle will merely tell her there’s a surprise and leave it at that.

Next, Lily will question Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) lingering bond with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Now that Billy has stepped away from his podcast with Chelsea, Lily won’t see why he’s still focusing on his former co-host instead of his COO job.

However, Billy will make time to rip into Jack over Adam and the way he’s jeopardizing their family legacy.

Adam will also fill Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in on his new co-CEO position, so Victor will fume over Adam’s bold move to Jabot.

After Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) encourages Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to be there for distraught Chelsea, he’ll come to her aid.

Chelsea will get another pep talk before turning her attention back to Billy, who may let her spend some time with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).

While Adam hopes Sally comes around on forgiving him, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will fight hard to protect her friend.

Since Chloe doesn’t want Sally to get hurt again, she’ll deliver repeated warnings about avoiding Adam.

Some major Newman Enterprises developments are brewing as well.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will announce something shocking before Victor shifts things behind the scenes.

If Nikki wants to step down as Victoria’s co-CEO, Victor might want Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to fill the void – though Victoria might argue she can handle the job alone.

In the meantime, Nick may have to defend Sally again and guard her Newman Media CEO position.

Sally will also serve as a sympathetic ear to Nick later, so he’ll appreciate the growing connection between them.

Adam will ultimately do an about-face on something, but it won’t be his Jabot job according to fall preview spoilers.

Since some of the Newmans are doubters, Adam might get rid of the evidence he’s obtained and try to prove he’s on the right track.

Victoria will contemplate a new offer, so we’ll see if Adam wants to strike some sort of deal for peace.

Regardless, peace won’t really be possible with Adam working for the enemy, so a Newman versus Jabot battle is looming.

In the park, Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) Marchetti photoshoot will be catastrophic.

Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will call Tessa out as the problem, so she’ll run into some trouble in her modeling debut.

As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll seethe after his plan goes wrong.

Nate will secretly take Imani Benedict’s (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) advice and plan the music festival without Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) approval, but it’ll be revealed too soon on a video conference.

Although Jill will think Nate’s idea is amazing, she’ll force Lily to make the final call – and Lily will side with Devon by tabling the discussion for now.

Nate will ultimately tell Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) that he’s going to walk away from his job at Chancellor-Winters, so she may support that idea. Elena has already urged Nate to just quit if he’s unhappy.

Unfortunately, Imani may change Nate’s mind and convince him to double down on his Devon deception.

Nate will inevitably plot some other bold move that’ll really send Devon over the edge!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Nate’s rivalry is far from over, so don’t miss what’s in store.
