The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, December 29, tease that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) catches up with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at the club. Danny informs her that he’ll be leaving in a few days. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) show up and join the celebration.
Michael asks if Danny will stay in town to see Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell).
The question made him feel uncomfortable. He quickly says he will, most likely.
Aty Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) says that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is cool, and he really likes him.
They continue to put together his school project, the egg drop. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) drops by and helps Connor figure out the eye drop.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Adam asks Chelsea if Billy was coming by later.
Chelsea said that hanging out with Billy creates a distraction for her. It’s clear Connor enjoys spending time with Billy.
At the park, Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) meet for New Year’s eve celebration.
Billy doesn’t want to dress up, and just wants to spend time with her. Billy mentions he’s worried about their relationship. Lily agrees.
Lily complains that Billy didn’t plan anything for the night , and worries she isn’t her priority. Billy wants to work on their relationship, but Lily thinks it’s too late.
Lily thinks that since they don’t have work in common, it feels like there is nothing left between them. “We are two different people with two different goals,” Lily cries.
Y&R spoilers say that Lily tells Bill it’s time to take some time apart. She isn’t saying it’s the end, but they need to determine if there’s anything left to save in their relationship.
Meanwhile, at Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) suite, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives with soup, herbal teas, and a heating pad.
Sally informs him he didn’t have to do this for her. Nick says he likes taking care of her.
Sally doesnt want Nick to stay with her. She urges him to celebrate New Year’s Eve without her.
At Society, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) refuses Diane Jankins’(Susan Walters) offer.
Jeremy wants all the money she stole from him. Jeremy asks if Diane turned him into the feds to put him away. Diane denies she would turn on him, but he isn’t sure he can trust her.
Diane tells Jeremy she’s missed the excitement he brings in her life and wants to reconnect.
Jeremy admits to struggling with anger toward her, but he’s missed her too.
Diane said they had a good time together, before and after she knew about him using her to smuggle money.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Diane pretends she doesn’t know about Jack’s cash offer.
She tells him life in Genoa City is boring, and she can’t wait to get away from everyone and everything. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) lurks nearby.
Y&R spoilers state that Jeremy admits to being surprised by Diane’s offer. Diane pushes the idea to reunite.
Diane thinks they can arrange another way to pay him back. Jeremy will consider her offer.
After Jeremy leaves Society, Jack rushes to Diane, vowing to be there for her. Jack admits he was impressed by Diane’s act. He thinks Jeremy believed her.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) stops by to check on Sally.
Sally admits to Chloe that she thinks she’s right and could be pregnant. Sally admits she checked the calendar, and pregnancy is a “definte possibility.”
Sally admits she forgot to take the pill several days this month.
Chloe tells her to relax, she may not be pregnant. Chloe wonders why being pregnant with Nick’s baby would be bad.
Sally admits that it could be Adam’s child, and which makes her nervous. Y&R spoilers state that Sally asks Chloe to buy her a pregnancy test.
At Crimson Lights, Adam runs into Billy. Lily just dumped Billy, and he’s down.
Adam accuses him of wanting to see Chelea after midnight. Of course, Billy is just feeling upset and needs to think. Adam warns Billy to leave Chelsea alone.
Chelsea and Connor walk in as Billy exits. Connor asks Billy to come upstairs and help him put the eye drop together. Chelsea notices that Billy seems distracted.
Meanwhile, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick catch up at the coffee house.
It’s Nick’s birthday, but he never mentioned it to Sally. Sharon likes seeing him happy.

At the Abbott house, Diane feels stronger with Jack’s support. Jack feels regret about how he treated her in the beginning.
Diane says she likes who she is when she’s with Jack. He says he feels the same about her.
Jack tells Diane Happy New Year’s and leans in to kiss her. The kiss quickly turns into a hot make-out session.
At the park, Lily cries. Daniel texts Happy New Year’s, but she doesn’t answer.
Billy leaves Chelsea apartment without talking about his conversation with Lily. Chelsea senses something is bothering him.
