The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of September 19-23 teases that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will flirt with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) considers whether his empire should grow. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also be moving on, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
After Sally and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) fail to cover their tracks, it’ll be obvious to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that they’ve been sleeping together.
However, Sally will make it clear that she’s moving on with her life and suggest Adam should move on, too.
Adam will clash with Nick later, but then Nick will turn his attention to Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) big news.
We’ll see Victoria share a game-changer plan for Newman Enterprises, so Nick should hear about Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) proposition.
Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll drop to one knee and ask Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to marry him again.
Summer will find the vow renewal quite touching and will be happy to pledge her love once more in front of their GC crew.
It turns out Summer and Kyle will also lay down the law with their mothers. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could both get fired if there’s more trouble – no matter who’s responsible for it.
That’s why Phyllis and Diane will try to keep the peace in front of their children, but things will remain contentious behind closed doors.
There’s no way Phyllis will give up on her Diane takedown goal, so she’ll be taking a huge risk.
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll do his part to keep Diane’s eyes on the prize.
Jack won’t want Diane to get distracted by Phyllis issues when she could be focusing on her job, family and future.
While Jack warns Diane to concentrate on what really matters, Phyllis will await updates from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in California.
Nikki will settle in her Beverly Hills hotel suite and meet with Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) about her Deacon scheme.
Deacon will cross over to Y&R from The Bold and the Beautiful, so he’ll arrive after getting Nikki’s strange message.
That’ll lead to Deacon turning on the charm and even flirting with Nikki a bit, but he won’t succeed in buttering her up.
Nikki will seethe over Deacon helping Diane fake her death, especially since he nearly let Nikki go down for a murder that never even happened.
Deacon will be sorry about that, so Nikki will think the least he can do is offer incriminating Diane info.
Unless Deacon wants to face Nikki’s vengeful wrath, she’ll push him to do what he’s told.
At The Grand Phoenix, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will show off his new venture.
Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will be proud of Noah’s amazing nightclub space, which should have its grand opening soon.
Despite Diane and Phyllis’ attempt to get along, another blowup could be brewing.
Summer and Kyle will discover something that stuns them, so they might walk in on a major fight – perhaps one where Phyllis and Diane resort to violence.
As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll meet with Victoria and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Society to discuss something important.
It’ll put Victoria on the spot and could bring pressure to tell Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) the truth about who gave birth to him.
Chelsea will try to force Victoria into something, so that may involve a truth bomb – and Billy may back Chelsea up since she’s obviously not going to let this go.
Maybe Billy will think it’s best just to rip the bandage off and try to help Johnny understand.
After Victor riles Diane up, he’ll turn his attention to Newman Enterprises and a possible expansion.
It sounds like Victor will be intrigued by Victoria’s potential deal with Nate, which could make him Victoria’s inside man and position her to snatch up Chancellor-Winters shares for control.
Of course, Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) arrival could mess with Nate’s plans in more ways than one.
Nate may get a bit distracted as he meets this mysterious business executive, whose career goals could affect his own.
